Ok, so tonight I've finally had it. Over the past few years I've seen some half decent and half brewed bad ideas of custom Buells for sale on Craigslist. This one pushed me over. Post up everyone, let's see all the crazy Buell projects I know are floating around http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ram/mcy/15341957 46.html |

lol - very nice for a cruiser, I'd choose it over a Sportster any day. Definitely different! EZ |

Common - XB9's are a very under-stressed engine - upgrade the bearings, the oil pump gear, and customize the FI mapping and the motor would probably last forever - with that frame - it looks like you could take the tank off and do a complete tear down on the frame - keeping the ultra light swingarm and wheels a great idea as well - again way better than what HD shoves out the poo hole to sell. Man, I've seen worse! Way worse... Not a big deal in my book, it started out as a wadded up XB. The guy definately did something different with it. At least it wasn't an old S2 or S1... Hell, I'd ride the thing... (for short distances, I don't think my back or ears could take it for very long). However, with those pipes, it is definately a fag bike... Brad |
