Triple? That's it. I think we've both gone through the numbers like 6-8 times, at least. There's a reason why I'm not an accountant The next thing I'm going to do is send out an email to everyone who's paid on shop.buellhomecoming.com to see who wants, and who doesn't want their location listed on a google map. After that, I'm going to try to put together a FAQ page on buellhomecoming.com including all the accommodations(including the campsite info) and other pertinent info.... |

Here is a map of participating Buell Homecoming folks that have given me their permission to post up their locations. It will be updated several times a day as the emails keep pouring in. Google Maps Link |

Nice job Steve. So far there is a "triangle " around ET. Chicago, Rockford, Milwaukee. Maybe gathering areas to ride in as groups, that would be awesome. |

Wolfie, looks like I will be coming your way for this event. Ya s'pose there is room on the highway for both of us again? Oh heck, maybe we can see about that in March. Are you planning the city route the boat route or an extra day Northern big bridge route? |

"Just we are trying to keep a level of security." Expecting trouble makers, gate crashers, White House interlopers, H-D spies, other????? Anyway, all I can plan for this far out is maybe attending some of the general gatherings, unless Security turns me away . An evening brat fry might be nice for those not able to attend the big dinner. It could be a bring your own food and fire type of thing. Just throwing out a thought. And if I arrive two-up on a bike it will probably be on the (H-D FLT) since my two Buells are not overly two-up friendly these days. I will be wearing my Buell jacket so hopefully I won't be chastised too severely. (off to google/craigslist search for some build components) |

I thought it was 300 tickets not unless you are talking rooms? Wonder how many rooms are left I just made a reservation looks like I'm going to make arrangements to get my butt there this June regardless of teaching and costs. Mark if you are asking me I'm superslabbing it the most direct route to and from and only staying one night. I'll do 400 miles the first day and the rest on the 18th check in, clean up, party! then sleep and ride home. Thanks to the big trip in Sept. I have a limited income and have to save up lots of money |

I like the big bridge route also. Looks like two or three more tanks of gas, a couple extra meals, a night of camping, and an extra day off. Hmmmmmm? What is a Buell rider to do? |

a lot will be determined from our friends down under. I'm gonna do what ever they want. I've been to the big bridge and East Troy before. Its the company I keep that makes it fun.... I'm so flexible... no, thats to rigid of a term... I'm fluid |

Just a reminder. If you purchased more then one ticket. The person that is getting that ticket must be present at time of pick up. |

DAMMIT!! Can someone help: A- I've not been able to reach Rocco or make Paypal work to buy a ticket to Homecoming dinner- just after I tried both, it is announced that dinner is sold out. Given the rumored capacity of the hall at 300, is this true? Am I S.O.L.? B- If Homecoming dinner is sold out, who has a spare ticket I can buy? I'd love to make the event for the weekend, but I REALLY don't wanna miss the dinner and concert. HAAALLPP!! |

Would it be possible to have others come in for the concert after dinner? Hate to have folks missing out on the fun because they'd waited a couple months trying to decide on making dinner reservations. |

Maybe we could get it outdoors under a tent? or the banquet hall has a large entry that could be opened into an outdoor area? |

One issue with the concert after the dinner is people that paid for the dinner paid for the concert AND there is still the whole legal holding capacity of the hall thing. As far as having the concert outside, the hall is on the 2nd floor, so that wouldn't work out too well. I fully understand that people want to attended, but we did warn everyone that there was a finite number of spaces available. I really do feel bad and wish everyone that wanted to come could get in, but it's just not possible. This is our first attempt at this and I don't think any one of us figured it would take off this fast. What's the saying? Ya snooze, ya lose?? Kidding aside, I'll look into options, but I promise NOTHING!. |
