It's confirmed Wahoo! Lemonchili and I are all but on the plane to Homecoming! We still have to sort details for the trip, but we found out on New Years Eve that all is good, and we have the green light to start hunting tickets and packing bags. (good thing as we already bought banquet tickets  ) All the offers you guys have made to visit and transport have been amazing, and we will do our best to see everyone, and take some of you up on your generous hospitality along the way. On a side note, Chili's Band- The Lemonchili Project played a good chilled out gig today in a little West End music joint in town. The gig went really well, and we had a very cool surprise guest. Thanks go out to Badwebber Paulinoz for stopping in to catch the show (all the way from Adelaide). I knew he was a man of discerning taste before we even met him, as he strolled up to us in his Thunderbolts t-shirt SEE YOU ALL IN JUNE!!!!!! | ||

Spidey - Henry Ford Museum would be awesome  So far we know our flight home out of LA needs to be in the week after Homecoming, say Wednesday 23rd (flight prices go up after that week). Our basic plan includes fly into LA in the first week of June. We're thinking we'd like to go to Vegas for a day or two, then fly east and spend a day or two in NY. What we do between then and Homecoming is what we're not sure about yet, sooooo much to see and do...  (The list of places I'd like to see would take about six months!!!) We got some guides of the USA as Xmas presents so we have some reading to do and decisions to make. | ||

I'm working out some of our travels backwards (or working out an exit strategy!)... Roughly how long does it take to ride or drive from East Troy to: Chicago? Columbus? Cleveland? NYC? | ||

From Columbus Ohio to East Troy is about 450 miles give or take. It can be done in 8 to 8.5 hours if you hammer. (this is how it goes on the way home) On the way there can take a little longer.... you need to add a little time for laughing, lies and loafing around | ||

Starting to get an idea now. Nevrenuf - that would be very cool! Columbus is starting to look like a good option as a hub for us in the final part of the trip. V and I will throw around some ideas tonight and see what we can come up with |
