Would you really wear that Rupp suit? Those old one piece suit were so silly looking. Cool to have though. |

>>Those old one piece suit were so silly looking. I second that. Even back when they were 'cool' I felt like a dork wearing 'em. I've still got a Stearns one somewhere around in almost-new condition that'd really give me a flashback riding the old '71 Evinrude--also probably a decent wedgie just like back in the day. |

We have a Harley-Davidson sled, and full HD suit, mittens and boots to go along with it. I used to wear them all the time when I was younger, family never thought of them being collector items. |

Would you really wear that Rupp suit? I would if I still had my RUPP 440 nitro!! You know the ones with intake right at your belly button and if you had any loose clothing it would get sucked right in and kill the machine. |

Had a 71 Yamaha GP292 that had the snorkel sticking out and a farm store one piece suit. Racing my budds across the field and BAAAAA! the thing would suck my suit into the carb and I'd lose-bummer. |

My first sled was a '72Yamaha GP433...same problem. The thing would just rip across a lake...just don't try and turn! |

I learned to ride a 1969 Scorpion. It was my parents. Bought new in 69. Then we had Ski-Doo TNT's 440's. Then Scorpion 440 Whip's. Then my folk's gave it up after a pair of Artic Cat El'tigre 6000's. I was on my own then I was strict Ski-Doo fan. Drag raced Mach 1's till 93 when the Mach Z came out with the 780 triple. Gave it up in the mid 90's till I bought a old Cat ZRT 800 that was built with a Hooper motor. Sold it last year. |
