Obama has pledged to send his economic development advisers over there. Brilliant! So his plan is to cripple their economy! Talk about secret weapon! |

First off, where's the f*ckin security? Why they would let someone in to the base without even stopping him? Unless bases are being turned into exhibitions thus let people come and go as they damn well please. I sympathize for those who lost loved ones in the attack but if they're being that stupid then maybe this will pop their heads out of their asses. They can't be up there for the warmth. |

Some freaking fruitloop does a half assed job of trying to blow up a plane and it is all over the news. Some freaking suicide bomber blows up 8 CIA agents inside a secure military installation. No big news coverage?? Another bit of embarrassing news that maybe the govt. is trying to keep it quiet. |

Of course they're keeping it quiet, just like if we retaliate for the failed Detroit bombing, we won't make it public. So if the US does end up whoopin Afghan ass over there we probably won't hear about it. |

I heard about it on NPR. I don't think news is being hushed up. |

they were waiting until all the family members of the victims had been notified. Why is that so hard to understand? It was all over the NBC news tonight |

I saw it briefly mentioned on one of the major networks last night. I have to wonder how they were able to confirmed as intelligence agents. |

Yeah, the bomber was an intelligence contact who was invited onto the base so they didn't think twice about checking him. Guess they'll be checking every one who comes and goes. |

You know, when I worked in the county Jail years ago we had what were called trusties. These were inmates who were allowed to do jobs around the jail. Now, one of the things that was always reminded to us is just because they're called trusties doesn't mean you trust them. I would think that the same would apply to contacts out there. Just because they work for you doesn't mean you trust them. NO MATTER WHAT! |
