I got it today: Dave, Get a Buell now — love it for a lifetime. Learn More View as HTML | Add to safe-sender list BUELL 2010 Motorcycles Bike Finder Payment Calculator Financial Services Find a Dealer THE LAST BUELL MOTORCYCLES HAVE BEEN BUILT. GET ONE OF THESE COLLECTOR'S ITEMS BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE DOES. The only collector's item that comes with seven years of support. Now that Buell has stopped building America's sportbike, each remaining bike is technically classified as a collector's item. But instead of issuing a small laminate certificate of authenticity, every Buell comes with a Harley-Davidson, Inc. backed 24-month/unlimited miles limited warranty. In addition, Harley-Davidson, Inc. has made a 7 year commitment to supply replacement and service parts at over 250 authorized Buell service locations. Which is fitting, seeing how you don't buy a Buell to put in a curio cabinet or display on a mantle. You buy one to ride. "Now that Buell has stopped building America's sportbike, each remaining bike is classified as a collector's item." For crying out loud, what is up with that ? |

Wolfie-Did you get a call from AD's asking if you wanted to trade your Buell(s) in? I had a voice mail from them the other day that I found rather odd considering they couldn't even get me the parts I wanted most of the time... |

So I guess that marks the end of great Buell deals. Collectors Item = MSRP + Collector Mark Up |

Did you get a call from AD's asking if you wanted to trade your Buell(s) in? Not yet. But they are closed from Dec.25th to the 5th of Jan. so nobody is getting any parts... |

I'm not waiting on any parts-cept the ones I need to make. I was referring to the fact that they've always been terrible about getting me parts in a somewhat reasonable time frame, and even worse about getting me the right ones. Then to give me a call asking if I wanted to trade my 9r in for a harley was a bit much...just a rant is all. I guess they're probably throwing lines out where ever they can... |

Its a boat I wouldn't want to be in. To be closed for 10 days with no pay would suck.... and to try and make a living selling motorcycles during this time of year... or this economy.. No thanks. I've always had pretty good luck with them getting me parts. But I do call in with the Part #'s so it "should" be almost impossible to screw up. |
