Court is correct but selling items on the premises that may have copyrights involved and we all have seen plenty of cannot happen there. Just the way it is like or not. We want everyone to have a good time. Leave the selling of merchandise at home. This is a celebration and we want to keep it clean is all. |

Lots of folks will be watching.
I'd hope we would warmly welcome anyone and everyone who wants to participate.
From the 1st Homecoming in the 80's Buell has been all about the inclusion of passionate folks.
I met many of you after your fuses were lit but long before you bought your first Buells. Owning or riding a Buell is not a pre-condition of sharing or sharing in our collective enthusiasm.
I also think that one thing that will be particularly unique this year is that we will be under the watchful eye of thousands of folks around the world curious . . . . .much like the Christmas that continued unabated in Whoville . . as to how HD could kill off Buell and not put a dent in the enthusiasm of the owners.
I'm really excited about this Homecoming and intend to do everything I can to make it memorable and amazing.
Missing this event would be a poor choice. |

No.
That is why . . . when no one took up the challenge . . I assigned Rocco and Steve and told them to get whoever they could locally and MAKE DECISIONS.
You may recall I was accused of "barking orders like a field general". Frankly . . . I think you guys are doing a stellar job and I can't wait to attend.
I've done my time and I'm going to be less and less involved. |

Rocco wasn't assigned. We just decided to do this. Rocco and I were out at Alpine this evening to square up some more details. We are in some deep thought with some area's but we'll have it figured out soon. |

I'd like to see him find something legal and cheeky to hand out and feel like he contributed to the madness. I'd suggest a Canfield Coffee Co. sticker for us at the campground. What idea do you have Bads1? |

Right now we have our hans full with other things pertaining to making this event happen and run smoothly. Canfield Coffee with a picture of Court on a can.LOL Something tells me Court has a future in the coffee business. Ya know,it was almost ten years ago I handed him a can of refried beans. Now its coffee beans. I think I got get can of Coffee for everyone to sign for Court.LOL |

yea the whole atgatt was just an example, i think its a boring sticker to have as well even if it is true. but it was the first thing that came to mind. I'd still like to get a cool sticker whether i hand some out at homecoming, or just figure out how to distribute them via snail mail outside of homecoming seems to be yet undertermined. but i dont see any harm with people shouting out sticker ideas here on badweb! |

Not a sticker idea, but for a simple visual statement to be made by like-minded individuals...
Think black tape diagonally over the Buell logo, like the LEO's do to honor a fallen officer. Works on existing tank badges, patches, and t-shirts. No danger of copyright infringement and everybody has some electrical tape lying around, right? |

1+, i just figured people like free stickers, its not like i wanted to make one that says "harley=fags" or anything, i just thought a fun sticker that everybody would like would be something fun to do, but if its going to cause trouble i'll just make them for myself, or not make them at all |

Overall...I have to agree with Court. This event needs to be about the bikes, and the owners, and the guy whose name is on the airbox. Period. No politics, no BS, no fight-picking. People everywhere will be watching, it's up to us (scary as that is...lol) to set a good example.
What was the quote from that old clip?
"Just go ride the motorcycle".
Put THAT on a sticker. A big "BUELL" in block letters, with 'just' in the B, 'go' in the U, 'ride' in the E, 'the' in L, and 'motorcycle' in the second L. Stick a 2010 or a '10 in there somewhere to top it off.
No laughing. I have NO design software, this is just tossed together in Paint.
And Dana...Court likes to bring boxes of coffee, not cans. Which is good...the box is easier for all of us to sign  |
