I'm looking to buy a good back protector soon so; What brand do you have, what style, and does it feel right under a jacket or fit good inside a one piece?

Alpinestar, can't remember the specific style, but it fits well under a jacket and one piece suit as well.

Icon, chest and back protector it also works well under both

I just bought a Knox Aegis. Haven't tried it on yet, but it looks to be top quality.

My wife and I wear Knox ones-couple of years old, but very comfortable and great quality.

Juggernaut - back, chest, shoulders and arms. It's like a shirt; I can wear it under any jacket

Bohn makes a very complete line of body armor for road and track.

What I like about the Knox armor is that it covers the whole back, not just the spine. The straps don't go up under the armpit either, which will be great for a long day in the saddle. Sportbiketrackgear has a good demonstration video about it. I also like the shirt that Midnightrider shows. The armor won't move around on you with that setup, good for trackdays, a hassle for casual riding since you now will have two jackets to take off when you stop for a break.
Come to think of it, I'll have the same problem with the back protector I just bought.

Field armor feels nice, not too thick. Built well and usually can find em cheap on sale. Hope that helps....

I have also considered the protective shirt idea, and may eventually go that route. I just made arrangements to buy an older-than-new Bohn Proracer Cool Air and expect it next week. I'm still interested in what others have so; more info please.
