Antelope Valley Buell and Lavin-Yurassov Racing have really step up to the plate and embraced the "Adopt and Elf" idea that was floated for the 2010 Homecoing by donating $1000 for the cause. The idea is to get the former BUELL employees into the Homecoming dinner for free so they can see exactly the awesome impacted they've made on many of us here by building the best bikes, hands down. It's one way to say "thanks" for your efforts and there are still people that appreciate what they've done. The ones attending will have different color wristbands and their names WILL be read aloud before the dinner starts. The logistics of this are being worked out by people that have access to the BUELL employee data base. We have had several people ask how to and many more that have contributed to this cause. If you're able and willing to help out, please do so! Make no mistake. EVERY penny that is donated to this cause will be used for this purpose alone. being that we ourselves can not directly get the contact info because of legal mumbo jumbo, we are going through an individual that has this info and he or she is in the process of contact the former elves. I'm betting we'll get a damn good showing. When the information is made available to me , I will share it | ||

I've been having issues with yahoo email. Like getting them 3 days after they're sent. Or not at all. I don't even get the emails in reply to my posts here anymore. I try to keep up with the posts by checking them a few times a day. So I can honestly say I don't know what email you're talking about. | ||

I think this is a great idea. My wife was one of the "elves" and there was lots of interest in this at the final farewell party on the 18th. from all of the people I talked with. My wife and I already bought our tickets before the cut-off date to try and get the required amount sold to keep the party at Alpine, It will be a great place to have this event!! We are looking forward to it greatly!!  | ||
