Svh, A 1st gen? Awesome! Just a pure sports car. Always wanted one growing up. Good eye but not an R1 or R2 since I wanted leather seats and sunroof but has been heavily modified including coilovers and R2 strut brace, chin spoiler, and RZ spoiler. From what I've seen people want way too much for these things, they just aren't worth much and mods only reduce the value. Mine is a '94 with 45k miles on it and I doubt it's worth much. Worth more to me than I could ever get for it. That and these cars do not tolerate abuse would make me wary about buying one unless interior and exterior were perfect and I was going to rebuild/port the motor anyway. Nels |

The X1 would be faster for a bit, yes. I would like to come as well. Working is highly over rated. I am going to take the X1 down a notch or two. Well, that's my plan anyway. I need to get my stock cases replaced. I want to take it back to stock displacement. |

I don't want to derail this thread(any further), but I can get plenty of HP out of a stock displacement motor. It'll be fun. |

1985 Capri from back in the day when I was doing well in F-stock. Purchased it in 1986 with 6k on the clock, still have it. Sorry for the blur but I didn't take the pic.

Forerunner- The clean ones are expensive and those are the ones I would be looking for. Especially with a manual trans they get $$$. The unmodified or correctly modified are getting fewer and fewer unfortunately. That one looks very nice. One of the best looking cars ever made in my humble opinion. |

I had a nice Jetta once it wasn't fast but I liked to pretend 260 or HP (FWD so it wasn't a sports car or anything just a toy) H&R suspension computer reprogram center-force clutch Quaife LSD high flow cat 2" from accumulator back custom exhaust (I put it in myself) all with heated leather seats and BOSE sound
but I had a nice 89 Fox Body stang 5.0 long tube headers flow-masters Jet chip under-drive pulleys larger MAF and throttle body spacer GT 40 upper and lower intake plenums BBK cold air intake cat eliminator 3.85 rear end chrome pony wheels I'm sure there was more but I forgot... it hurts to think about it I slid off the road one winter and a tree just jumped right out in front of me. I also had a beat up 89 Audi 200 quattro turbo 2.2L inline 5(very ugly but it never got stuck), bone stock except for the small hole in the diaphragm that let it boost to 21 psi before the ecu would freak out (not done on purpose it was just old rubber), plus the KC lights I mounted to the front for some two track fun. made some of the local 4x4's cry because of its stock rear electric push button locker. and my first was a 93 ranger splash 2wd manual everything I lowered it but that was about it. every car I bought with my own money, except the car we have now because it was the ladies car, a mom mobile Toyota matrix with steel wheels. |

Grancuda - love the old Mopars! Makes me wish I'd kept my $50 (yes...*fifty* dollars) '78 Volare /6. 38k miles, all original and solid as a rock, factory a/c would blow 33 degree vent temps at idle in 95 degree weather. Green on green (naturally). Got it when a friend said he had to sell his grandma's old car since he was moving and the new development wouldn't let him have an untagged car. I said "I don't need another car". He said "you love old Mopars". I said "I've only got $50 in my wallet", to which he said "you own a new car!". Set of cop wheels out of the shed was all I ever did to that thing, and it ran awesome every single time. Sold it to a guy and his son - I'm almost embarrassed - 3 years later for $2500.

Dad and I bought this car when I was 15. It has gone through many stages and had been with me for prom, my wedding and bringing my son home from the hospital. You can say it is part of the family.

buellboiler, That is just the class they put me in. They said the car had some many modifications that CP was the only class it could run. I couldn't even come close to the other cars but I have alot of fun trying |

That is a very clean SVO. I have owned 5 various 2.3 turbos starting with an 85 T-Bird Turbo Coupe and the most recent being an 87 Merkur XR4ti. I am currently driving a TRD edition TC and an HD edition F150. Some nice cars among Buellers, I have always been partial to the 64-67 Vettes and TVRs in general. |
