I have come up with the ultimate excuse to ride for those of us with bikes and families! You can thank me by taking a look and spreading the word to anyone who might be interested.

Maybe I'm missing something here but it looks like your trying to raise money so you can ride your bike cost free for a year and get some nice camera equipment out of the deal.

Definitely missing the whole point. I know it is lengthy but please read the whole thing as well as look at all the links to see the big picture.

I watched you video (you guys sound good BTW) and I see you do charity work. I did tread the whole thing before I posted my original comment. I'm not trying to be a pain or anything but if you weren't going to try and raise money for those programs you would have to pay all your bike related costs out of your own pocket anyway so I'm not sure why your trying to get people to pay that for you.

I've done a lot of charity rides and events in the past and I've never know anyone to ask for their expenses paid. Wouldn't it be better to take that $2000 and put it towards the cause?

I'm a cop and couldn't afford the bike in the first place. Wasn't going to buy one for another year but while looking the deal of a lifetime showed up so I bought it. I'm doing the charity work either way. There are two way to assist and they are with expenses, or by pledging to be collected at the end of the year. If this is a success then all my riding from now on will be for one charity or another. It would be whiney and beyond lengthy to put all this into the already lengthy explanations. If I ride as much as I intend to this year then I will have difficulty affording the maintenance. What I was initially hoping for was that dealerships would step up in return for advertising, and my band playing for them at promotions etc. I bought the bike one week before HD canned Buell. Which made it apparent as to why no dealers wanted to help when asked. Anyway if I have to defend all this here then I have posted in the wrong place, and will remove it shortly.
