Yep, apparently we are going to include 'illegal' immigrants in the new healthcare plan,... whatever that may be.... because now they all get amnesty and they are no longer illegal.... Somebody is playing with scemantics loose and fast, and they reside or hail from Illinois | ||

the only way your going to send a strong message is if you vote them all out of office starting next year. regardless of party. start with a new batch who realize maybe that america if fed up with the old status quo. and if anyone on here wants to run for office, i'll do my part what ever that may be to help them obtain that which they seek. Funny it aint on CNN or at the DNC party linkings either http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,580464,00.html but remember Fox is entertainment, it is really the only way I could stand to watch it. and yes, I collected a fifty dollar bet from it. back in August I bet a friend that Obama admin would just reclassify what is 'illegal' Yo se habla espagnol (not unless its on a menu) | ||

One line of thinking is that the criminal trespassers ( CT ) ( Illegal aliens is not PC, so I use the correct & even less PC term ) will NOT get amnesty until the socialized medicine bill passes. If the CT's are counted the budget office math comes out much higher, and the costs must be hidden to get the bill passed. So this could be an uncoordinated effort that will not please the current very Executive branch. Or the pundit I heard today is dead wrong, ( on the amnesty being on hold 'till after the socialized medicine bill ) and this is a full court press of every possible thing to reward the major contributers, ( Unions, lawyers, business's that have paid their protection money, like "big pharma" ) before the 2010 election cycle kicks in hard next month. They really do know from experience that the public's memory is short, and the media is on their side. | ||

It makes perfect political sense. If the dems pander to the illegal aliens, they'll all vote for them if they actually are able to give them amnesty. How many million votes is that? | ||

Indy...don't you have to be a citizen to vote? I'm in the same boat on this one, but I think maybe your logic is astray unless you mean the next step would be to grant voting rights to non citizens, and that would mean issuing a voter registration card without a social... Although it wouldn't surprise me if many illegal immigrants have somehow voted before anyways. | ||

Illegal aliens can already get a SS card. Oddly enough there is nothing illegal about that. They can also get home mortgages. | ||
