Yes, where do we stand? dinner wise? Maybe a counter at the top of the section that never moves down, always at the top. Maybe section on the rooms, where it stays at the top all of the time. I have not reserved any room yet. Also rental bike section. I will not be able to take off enough time, other than to fly back for the couple of days. REX |

I *THINK* we're at 146. Rex, the only bikes you'll be able to find for rent, will be Harleys. For that, I'd contact Bud Curtis at Hals(262-860-2060) |

It might help to know the likes of No_rice will not be tolerated at the campground... we don't want to end up getting kicked out of there, do we? Ha ha ha ha ha... no wheelies and no burnouts in the camping area...whatever happens on public roads is not my problem! Sort of kidding but not really... |

Well, I will already have them on my bike as my 1125 is also going to be my race bike for the year. |

Maybe we can work on some shipping of our bikes back to the Homecoming? West Coast, East Coast, North, South. Maybe they could come into one of the dealers. One year, we shipped about 8-10 bikes from Northern Cal to Ukes. that would work. REX |

Reminder!!! Out of the 146 registered for the dinner. There is only 9 booked room's so far. Make sure you are looking ahead. If you can... make your reservation for your stay. Alpine Valley is also known for several big name concerts a year. We do have a block and we will give you a deadline soon. No_rice, NO Bullshit WHAT SO EVER will be tolerated at the campground. BE WARNED...If you or anyone else, as much as lift a wheel or spins a tire, they will be kicked. We are not going to get booted out and loose our chance to stay there in up-coming years because of a few num-nuts. I'm going to set Charlotte up with a good sharp knife, and if anyone F@cks up, she is going to chop some balls, LOL... |

Iman; tell your dad that there will be a few people there on motorcycles of different brands, and he is welcome. I'm going to be on my Moto Guzzi, and I've read posts where there will be some others on non-Buells as well. One of the absolute best trips I've ever taken was in 2008, when my wife and daughter and I rode our motorcycles out to Wisconsin for Buell's 25th Anniversary. It was a 3,000 mile ride, and we all had a great time. Homecoming is definitely a family friendly affair. Try to talk both your mom and dad into coming up on the Wing. I bet they'd have a great time! It's going to be a very special event! |

Ian, We can add myself and Sunny to the list of folks willing to provide "adult supervision." Heck, you can PM us, we can even email your folks and TALK to them! You CANNOT miss this event! (oh and we CANNOT provide adult supervision for the likes of No_Rice!) |

Ian, if you'd like, your Mom & Dad could meet us(our 'lil motorcycle club)at this year's international motorcycle show in Chicago. We would be more than happy to provide "adult supervision" your parents desire. And if it came down to it, you COULD just camp or stay at our house. If they want even further references, that could EASILY be supplied. My wife watches other people's children for a living. Your father is more than welcome, in fact, encouraged to come along with you. I can just about guarantee that he'll be coming back, year after year. One of the members of our group did EXACTLY that. He and his father came down from Minnesota for Homecoming 2005. They've been back EVERY year since, and have become very good, close personal friends of ours. Hey, I'd even volunteer to be adult Supervision for No_rice! But I doubt it would work....

Making the 150 was HUGE for us to make this happen.... THANK YOU to everyone. That's simply friggin' AWESOME! BUT, I still would not procrastinate if you haven't purchased your tickets yet. There WILL be a cutoff date for the banquet & concert. You will NOT be able to attend without purchasing a ticket. So keep 'em coming! |

I'm going to set Charlotte up with a good sharp knife, and if anyone F@cks up, she is going to chop some balls, LOL... im just going to assume that someone late to the game is just trying to join in the fun , because otherwise someone got a big head real fast and that wouldnt be the most intelligent move ive seen all day... you dont know me as well as the rest of the group up there, but i will say, im not one to be told what i can and cant do. that being said, i choose the places and the times to do what i want. im intelligent enough to understand the consequences of choosing the wrong place and time. in other words i wouldnt jeopardize homecoming or any of my friends just to have some fun but... if someone decides to TELL me what i can and cant do, its funny how what i want some how manages to be EXACTLY what they dont... Nag #1 completed. sweet! keep it up, lol Tim, We have to start working on IAMike. He has to be there! yes we do! get him on board!!! Hey, I'd even volunteer to be adult Supervision for No_rice! But I doubt it would work.... lol, but you sure try hard and here i thought i was the one that had to keep an eye on everyone... |

As long as it doesn't happen on Alpine Valley's resort I'm fine with what anyone does. But burnouts wheelies etc. will not be tolerated. I hope everyone can control them selves there. If not you may be asked to leave. Sorry!!! Norice though is correct on his behalf. He wouldn't do anything to jeapordize any Buell event. So that being said lets keep this thread constructive. |

Sorry Tim, I ment no disrespect man...I'm just a little worried about Burnouts and all at the campground. With all the planning going into it,and a lot of friends coming from out of town, I don't want it to turn into a drunk'n mess. Can you blame me??? Do what you want, I know you will. You are MORE than welcome to join. |

Tim, don't get your undies in a bundle... you would have to understand how Jason and I roll, our humor just feeds off of each other (although Jason is perfectly capable of getting himself into trouble without my help)... and now we are defacto organizing the camping contingent... you f*ck up and I will just claim I have never met you before in my life... do whatever you want, I don't really care. Also, I don't need no stinkin' knife because my body is deadly weapon. |

well guys, i come home from work this evening, and check my email via cell phone, and i have like two or three new emails from this thread with people offering to talk to my parents, or keep an eye on me and all that stuff if i go. well i keep showing my mom all these emails and posts as they come up. she's starting to join on the bandwagon now i believe, she said that my dad would enjoy it, but still doesnt think he'll take that much time off work. She does like how friendly and willing to help you all are. so lets see if i can make it through finals these next few days, and then i'll have a nice little sit down with her about it, and explain to her why i "need" to go to homecoming! And as a side note, there isnt any limit on how many tickets are being sold are there? like is there any magical number that will be the max number of tickets being sold?... |
