I haven't used a blackberry in years, but it worked the same as my Windows phone and PC, just click upload attachment, then browse to the file and click OK. |

easiest way I've found is to send it to facebook, then post an img code here to show the facebook pic. I think you can put the pic on photobucket or another hosting site, but that could get a little tedious with a BB. Can't wait to reach my upgrade time and get a storm. btw if any photo hosting sites won't work because of flash, look for a web browser called bolt. It supports most java and flash sites - something even the iphone won't do yet. |

Either email it to yourself....or get a USB cable and hook it to your computer. I use USB. Click "My Computer" once you're connected, select the "removable disk" option if you don't get the dialog that gives you "open folder to view contents" option. Open it up, you get Blackberry and Misc as your choices. Blackberry will give you choices like music, ringers, and pictures. Open, drag, drop, and upload from your PC. |

Well, on mine (Curve 8350 I think), it will give me the "add attachment" button but when I get into it, I don't get the "browse" button. So I checked a pic that I have on the 'berry and it's properties, and the name is a PITA - "/Media Card/BlackBerry/pictures/IMG000195.jpg". Just tried it, and it got stuck when I hit "upload" after typing the filename. |

i have tried my self on my storm, but it would not upload the pic so i gave up. a useful program if you have a gps enabled phone is GPSed http://gpsed.com/ you can take photos, tag them with a location, and send them to Picasa, or Flickr photo sites, or Facebook, and some other social sites.. you can also have it send your location to people, so they can watch where you are in real time, and if you have problems you can sens out an SOS. it works on many phones including iphone, blackberry. Just tried it on the tour. Got all the way to where it says "you will see code \ popjpegxxx" or whatever. Clicked the close button but it took me back to the "upload" page. Acts like it has a problem with the way badweb uses a new window for the upload. I dunno???? |

Tank, try manually typing in the popjpeg code into the main window. |

Yes I am. And quite happy with the device. I can't post pics directly. But I can just use the free flickr app, and copy the link to the picture, and paste the imagelink here. |

I've always used photobucket to post pics here on my pc. A while back photobucket came out with an app that allows you to upload a pic from your iphone to your photobucket account, then cut and paste the img code like you normally would. Works great, and now I'll be tearing up the "New Riding Game" in the spring. |

I've never used the image link feature, is the picture size limited like posting a picture? |

The imagelink command (or the [IMG] code that photobucket gives) hotlinks off another server, so there is no size restrictions. You could post a full 8 megapixel photo if you desired. You just need to make sure hot linking is enabled, or you might end up with a red X or a placemark image that says no hotlinking. |
