Everything was fine till we got to the cabin and met Ft_bstrd.... And you've been back every year since then! I think you had the NEBO guys a little concerned as well - LOL! With all of our trips to Suches, renting the cabin twice a year, we've always ended up with someone new/unknown. I think we've been very lucky. We've met some great people because of taking a chance and opening our doors. |

Just buy a ticket, it's only 35 bucks. If you can't attend, give it to somebody on BWB that can... Z |

We've opened our home to many a Bueller over the years for Homecoming, Track Days, and for "the last ride". I've yet to find a Bueller I really don't trust. We're up to 129(excluding the checks that Rocco has) as of this morning. Keep 'em coming boys and girls! It'd be great to see the 150 by weeks end! And thank you to those who've purchased their tickets. I know the timing really sucks with the economy, Christmas right around the corner, etc... But, I do believe this will be the best homecoming YET! Last Wednesday, we went through the schedule of events we are planning, and the one problem we're going to have is squeezing everything in! We have quite a few door prizes, and giveaways from Badweb's fine sponsors. There are about several of 'em worth MORE than the price of the Banquet ticket! And remember, to be in the XBlight's tail light giveaway, you NEED to buy your ticket by the 28th! A HUGE thank you to Blake for letting us spam his house to get this done. Without him and Badweb, we wouldn't be able to do this. So thank you Blake! |

What did she say about the strippers? Hahahahahahahah hahaha i decided that trying to stick it to the man on this one would just earn me a deeinate no! but i've got some pm's from some people who are offering to let me hang out with them up there, and/or talk to my mom about it (which i havent responded to yet, i will eventually) so hopefully i can come to my first homecoming! your an eagle scout"... first to go.. then he will start taking out the strippers... starting with the largest breasted ones first (The tend to be slower runners) ha ha well thats comforting!, but i do like camping so if i end up camping, it wouldnt bother me to much, i probably wouldnt spend to much time in the tent anyway |

Iman All kidding aside. I kind of understand your Mom's thinking. But, she (and you) can rest easy, there isn't a gathering of better people anywhere on earth than a Buell rider event. You, make that everyone, will be looked after and taken care of no matter the situation. I have seen it many, many times. |

Wo Wo Wo- Don't PM me...PM Charlotte (whatever) if you are interested in staying at the Mukwonago Co. Park with us for Buell Homecoming. I know she would LOVE to fill you in on the situation. We are planning on reserving one or maybe two sites depending on how many folks are interested. I, being from Mukwonago, will try to handle the food. We will try to have a few nice cook-outs and such. I really have no idea how many people will be interested but we can work out the details in the next few months. And never fear, if the shit hits the fan and the park is booked up, we can set up shop in my back yard so... |

Etennuly. We need 150 to lock the "host hotel" in. After that, depending on what the holding capacity of the hall(s) is, that's the amount of dinners we can sell. It all depends on how quickly it sell out (hopefully) |

Hey, Vern; just do it! You don't want to miss this one. It will be worth it. This is going to be the Grand daddy of all the Homecomings. If you miss this one, you'll be kicking yourself for a long time. Hell, act as if you're going, and don't let the small sh*t keep you away. There never will be another Homecoming like the one that's coming this June. |

Court, I don't think I could play "moral custodian" to anyone... let alone an 18 year old boy, but I could talk to his mother. Char |

I ordered my 2 tickets today. Like I said I really WANT to go but with the new little one due 4 weeks before Homecoming, I'm not sure I'll actually get to make it. Do you need to be present to win a door prize? lol |

well i have a feeling convincing her is going to be difficult no matter who talks to her, shes not thrilled at the fact that i own a motorcycle, let alone a sport bike. and she still clearly doesnt like the idea of me taking off a week and going to homecoming alone. my dad wont go b/c he doesnt have a buell (i told him his honda will be good enough lol) and he doesnt want to take off that much work. i tried to bring up the topic of HC today but she just went into "mom mode" and was like you'd be with a bunch of people who are "of age" and once it gets after hours they will all just want to party and cause trouble...i told her that most of you seem to have a good sence of right and wrong, and also that if that did turn out to be the case, i could just leave and find something else to do... but i'll have to keep at it and see if i can talk her into letting me go. thanks for all the offers from people who said they'd talk to her for me and what not, i may take you up on that offer at a later date if i cant get anywere with her. so as much as i want to commit to coming to HC, i cant quite yet...but hopefully soon i will be able to! |

18 years old = ADULT. You can do whatever you want. Don't know why you need moms permission. Get off the tit, JK |

ha ha i'm still living at home, which means i abide by the parents rules....kinda boring but hey its smarter than trying to live on my own right now. i'll really start to bug/talk to her about it more after i'm done with finals this next monday and tuesday....she gets tired of me going on about motorcycles instead of doing homework lol |

She is still in Mom mode and will need time to accept that you are grown up. It sucks, but it just is how they are, I still get an earfull every day I leave for work on my Blast when it is only about 20°F out. |

I still get an earfull every day I leave for work on my Blast when it is only about 20°F out. ha ha yea, back when it was nicer out i'd go to school in the morning when it was in the low 40's or high 30's she'd just say something like "you do know your car runs right?" but now she just laughs at me b/c i cant ride anymore b/c its in the 10's and 20's now and i'm just not as crazy as you froggy ha ha If i just keep going on about wanting to go to HC i have a feeling she'll let me, that how i ended up with my first car 93 Jeep wrangler, then i put it in the ditch one winter and screwed it up, and bought 2 more parts jeeps which took some convincing. or the fact that i talked her into letting me get my bike license at 16, then moving onto buying myself the 9r...it'll just take time and pestering lol |

Ian, Man, it's a GOOD thing you have parents that care about you. Just think of the situation as being a good test of your salesmanship skills. I know mom is saying: motorcycle- oh NO, and motorcycle party in WI with a bunch of strangers, oh HELL NO NO NO. Explain to her how, with your excellent upbringing, you can handle it... The event at the homecoming will be all family oriented anyway. The camping will NOT get out of hand, there may be some booze (of which, your not going to be enjoying) but no wild sex and strippers and such. If you get in any trouble , there will be Many folks, like myself to help you out if needed. I personally think it may be a fine idea to let mom work up a list of ??? to ask someone like Charlotte to answer for her. That may help set her mind at ease. We are all pull'n for ya- now grow a set, LOL and pack the tent. You can't miss this... |

"of age" and once it gets after hours they will all just want to party and cause trouble... tell her i would never do something as silly as cause trouble after hours... i just do it all day long... Char: Would you be willing to serve as a "moral custodian" for an 18 year old guy . . . as a service to the motorcycling community? the poor boy has no idea what he's in for!!!
