Well all the bruises and pummeling that Harley Davidson gave us seems to have heal'd or rather went away. Some of us just jumped up for another day in biking, reguardless the drama of recent times, Heak Riding is what it's all about and our bikes didn't just stop because Beull stopped, theres millions of miles of grinning to do still. I just traded into a Triumph Daytona 675. Traded a Army truck for it, so now it's just about waiting for some weather. I'm glad to see the tone of alot of the BWB's has mellowed a bit, and acceptance has brought us all back to enjoying our bikes and each other here on the forum, it just seems more like the old days...............Mello. |

I don't want Hd anywhere near my testicular area....they may axe that too. I'm still in the denial stage of grief, they are going to bring back the Buell bikes under the HD badge and beg Erik to keep designing great American sport bikes for them. (And I have my hands over my ears saying La La La La so nobody can tell me differently. So there.) |

HD...Not so much I used to go to the HD dealer to get parts out of convenience. Now I make it a point to try to get parts from sponsors here first if at all possible, even if it means waiting for shipping, and avoid the local mothership. |

HD has kept our little tool & die company in business this year(along with a few Buell molds)... So I can't bash them one bit. Don't hate me for liking them right now |

A mud slinging XR1200 for 5K would get me back in the shop, other than that, The next bike will be from overseas. |

Don't hate me for liking them right now Like the checks (as long as they still clear the bank, and hope that they keep clearing the bank) but HATE what they've done, and hope that things work out for the best. City...they need to trim 150-200lbs off that pig too (Message edited by sayitaintso on December 15, 2009) |

City, I've noticed a certain, umm, theme in your postings...like you really really would like to have a bigass dualsport...I like that idea too. Here are a couple that I'd love to own (well, ok, one of them!)
I think I like the 690 better, as I would still ride it on the road some. Plus the tube frame reminds me of my first Buell, a 98S1WL. Sniff. |

I'd take one of those in my garage next to my XT and Scg, and I would be a happy boy for a LONG time! |

I love me some KTM, they just dont return the favor. I am 5-6 pretty much kills their entire line up for me unless I want to run a two smoker 100 (g-d short genes) Then there is the cost factor, I need a bike with a lower cost entry fee for repairs and maintenance... that aint KTM by all accounts The Yami WR250 DS is the way I am headed. Got to ride one this summer, gonna retire the CityX to only street use. |

I've seen the wr250 at the LBS-what's it like to ride? at the time, I also had a klx250s and thought it was way too slow. Is the WR250 more spunky? right now, they have a leftover wr450 that I've been tempted by. They want $5400 and in Arkansas I could make it street legal... |

for more street riding the 450 is the way to go. For me I just need it fast enough to get to the woods, with a plate... 250 is big enough and geared right too bad the fags killed this, maybe it would have given Buell a better foundation to be in dirt. |

Nuttin wrong with dual-sportin. Living in the Desert, it is criminal NOT to have some off-road options (shop pic from my rebuild)

I'm loving my new 1125R, and X is going to get some TLC soon, and once the Christmas rush is over I'll be out enjoying riding more. But mello? No way, not a chance, I'm still mighty pissed off with H-D . I still want to see H-D try and come up with justification for shutting down Buell, and more importantly I want to see H-D sell Buell and release the rights to allow the Barracuda to become a reality. |

Well, I've got me S1...and it's not going anywhere. I'm getting a big-bore supermoto next...no doubt about it. I rode a DRZ400SM recently and had a blast...the only thing missing was a lot of torque and power. I've never been a real H-D fan...especially now. They went to great effort and expense to expunge themselves of the only innovate products they have. Thank goodness most of the replacement parts for my bike are or can be had from the aftermarket and secondary market...and the cheap simple stuff is on the stealership shelf. |
