Happy birthday! Congrats on surviving stage two of life(your teens, last chance at total irresponsibility). My youngest is a year older than you, so clean up your room, and stay in school or get a good job!
When I was going from stage II to stage III(figuring out who you are and what you want to do with life) in my life, my dad took a bet that I would not live to stage IV(finding meaningful existence, becoming part of society). He bought a life insurance policy on me that I did not even know about until he passed. He was just certain the race cars, motorcycles, snomobiles, mass consumption, or someone's boyfriend was going to be my early demise.
What Ratbuell said above is sage advice that needs to not be over looked. Let others fall down, learn from their mistakes, observe and learn. At least one of my kids has learned from this advice, and I am not telling them which one because they all think they are the one.
