Ok so, I guess you might have clicked on this thinking the thread was about something else... shame on you! Just found my X Mas ornaments and card collection. I think I might go get a X Mas tree tomorrow. I love real ones, but I have new carpet so I might go pick up a fake at Wal Mart. Which do you have? Post a photo... ho ho ho. |

I have a vacuum. I don't know how to use it! Just kidding... I don't want sap all over the carpet. |

Fake.... I bought it once. No vacuuming... no watering.... no throwing it out to the curb wrapped in a big plastic bag that our city requires. My wife won't let me get the little ceramic one with the bulbs already in it. You know.... the ones old ladies usually have. It would fit on the top shelf of my front closet during its off season. Plug it in and put it on a end table during X-mas. |

Fake. I prefer silver, myself. My sister had one up year round when she was in a huge apt. Made for a conversation piece. Otherwise, go live. Get a pine ( your choice of breed )in a pot. It leaks very little sap, after Christmas put it in the garage, and plant it in spring. Eco-friendly, far less needles on floor, and much less fire hazard. I never buy a cut down tree anymore, but someday, I'll have a forest. ( Will sell Carbon Credits ) Oil, sythentic. Breasts, natural please. (Message edited by aesquire on December 12, 2009) |

get a real one. i put up our 1st tree since moving into this house, (we're never here for christmas) so i went and bought a real one. the expense and extra work became worth it the second my wife walked into the house. and it smells nice, too =) |

I went to a couple of superstores last night after work and I don't like what they have. I am going to get a real tree as soon as I can find a decent tree stand. I also love the way it smells, especially after you have the lights on for a while and the tree bakes for a little bit. I actually broke down and bought some x mas cards too after looking at my collection I keep with my ornaments. |
