The process at Buell and Harley for after the sale campains has greatly changed
I would say that is correct.
and improved since your direct involvement.
I doubt that! How one defines "improvement" would be the key and greatly varied between HD and the customer.
But what do I know!!! I am just an average Buell owner which does not fit into HDs Core Market (whatever that is). I am just glad I do not work for HD because I would have a hard time looking myself in the mirror everyday. |

I would be willing to bet that "Professor Canfield" could likely do a better job of running the good ship "HD" than the crew of know nothings, on the board of directors
They are not making thermostats, tv dinners or any other things.

FWIW, I've seen the touring bike repair parts, can't cost more then $1 at volume to produce. I've not seen the effort to install them.
I guess rumors of H-D's death are greatly exaggerated, albeit wished for in these parts by some.
