WTF does that have to do with an international motorcycle trip... Why don't you go back to the political threads to make a statement... Really. I am sick of it! Please knock it off. |

The Norweigians may not be happy with Obama, but I'm sure they won't hold that against anyone who wants to ride with them. Just don't dis the King by turning down lunch. It's considered an honor in polite circles. Hey, Whatever, isn't the M2L just the best bike ever? Do you run the "L" seat? I went to the "custom color matched" seat since I found the "L" pinched, a bit. I'm guessing different plumbing makes it more comfortable? |

You got it, "Whatever" - almost. It is takk. Speaking of noteworthy Norwegians. It is Joanne Lighton's (American Sport Bike) birthday tomorrow. I get to call her up and regale her with the Norwegian version of the Happy Birthday song (Shh.. don't tell her - it is supposed to be a surprise!) |

Reminds me.. I was in a virtual meeting with a high fallutant company (that make aircrafts) and we had problems with the implementation. I had about 5 folks on the line in the virtual meeting. Situation was tense. It was not going well. So I decided to break the ice by singing the Norwegian happy song. Here it goes. Nøtteliten satt i toppen av et tre Tjo Hei! Nøtteliten har det bra some bare det. Tjo Hei. Hopp og sprett og tjo og hei Fire kvister deler seg, Nå kommer Nøtteliten, hei pa deg! It broke the ice alright. Actually, it went over well. I was not fired as a consultant and we brought the project to a successful conclusion. The song is about a happy squirrel jumping from tree to tree= |

The Norwegian birthday song really made my day special, thank you!!! It was a complete surprise - even Al didn't recognize your voice when he transferred you. He said I looked a little confused, then amused, then delighted when I realized what I was hearing... to borrow a translated phrase from the song, "what more could I want?" Very cool. Contempt for Death Trip - these guys are absolutely crazy! Not content to merely travel on motorcycles around the world with a minimal support system (basically themselves), they're doing it on 70 year old bikes! Their blog is a good read - bet they have a TON of good stories to tell... Thanks again for making my day, Ozzie! Joanne |

From a post on advrider:
quote:Met up with these guys last night in Milwaukee. The funniest part was Tormod talking about sitting around with Erik Buell watching the Harley Southpark Episode.

They've made it to Chicago. I guess that Erik gave them full face helmets while they were staying with him. A few Guzzi owners have been keeping track of them.
