Iman501 there are low cost options if you care to use them...used is an option...you just might find some good usable boots at Goodwill for example....and the money you pay for them will help someone in need... Because if you wait until you see dirt sky dirt sky dirt sky....well...thats a bit late. |

I traded a few FB and other messages with him too ... I couldn't have been more impressed. You can fake a lot of things, but CLASS isn't one of them. He's the real deal IMO. Mike |

Iman - Congrats on your accomplishment of Eagle Scout. I'm sure your parents are very proud of you. Congrats on the new bike as well. Enjoy the ride and be safe. I checked Pay It Forward and we don't have any boots right now in a size 12. Check www.newenough.com for reasonably priced gear. I always watch their Closeout/Bargain Basement section. |

Thomas - that is totally cool, and we have a very cool road to explore in January. Hopefully the Mendocino ride will buck me up for that road - lol - EZ |

I was surprised that I got A response that wasn't A form letter or such. Think mister Dodge would write me back? Ed, the road we took the other day ends in Livermore and from what I gather we only had A few miles left to the end. Now if I could just get the E.B. autograph on my xb...Hmm... |

I think my a-stars may be 12's let me check... IF I get the boots I want for x-mas or birthday you can have my SMX-1's. they are my only boots so I cant give them up yet. I am a college student (again) to I know the pain of broke and needing gear. |

that would be awsome delta one!, if you get your new ones perhaps we could make a trade, i've got a set of saddle bags that i probably wont be using, idk if you have any need for them or not, but i'd be willing to trade those. if not, i may be able to come up with some money, i'd feel bad just taking them from you |

Iman - you will find a lot of sharing here on BadWeB. We have a section called "Pay It Forward". It's all about sharing and passing along gear and/or parts to fellow BadWebbers. If Delta has boots he's willing to pass along, say thank you and remember to pay it forward when you can. Trust me it all comes around. We've sent children's gear, helmets and a tall Uly seat. We've received a dash and tach for our M2 and Fast sent me a low seat when I was learning to ride the Blast. In fact, I think we already have a new home lined up for it when the time comes. Like I said, Pay It Forward! And if by chance you've not seen the movie, it's a good one. |

Also its great that you have takin the MSF class alot of the guys your age never do and end up paying for it. and as it was said before training NEVER ends it just get more fun!!! Good luck and ride safe. |

wow! you guys are the greatest! the pay it forward thing is really awsome!, and as far as the MFS goes, in illinois, you have to take it if you want the license if your under 18, so i took it, i had a ton of fun taking the class, and did learn a lot!, I'm going to try and find an ERC class in the spring to get into specially since i'm going to be riding a different bike this next riding season. the firebolt will be a lot different than my 89 honda transalp!!! |

the ERC class should be at the same place you took the MSF course as it is just the advanced version of it were you get to use your own bike instead of there little bikes. |

no worries Iman. I just hope that I am able to sass them on to you. they have some miles on them a little worn where my armor rubs on the top, and they were not that expensive to begin with. like ulywife said just pass it on when you can to keep a fellow Bueller riding. |

ROFL!! ok mine are not THAT bad LOL maybe I am just a little particular about my gear... you can see the frayed out spot on the right side of the right boot.
it looks like someone is planing on getting me boots for my birthday. (mid Jan) so Iman after that I could ship these out to you or come spring when the bikes come back out we could meet somewhere around Chicago on a weekend and see if there are any good roads to ride. BTW there is no size on them but my Adidas shoes are a 12 and my Ecco are 10.5 so I have no idea what these are! sizes are not as standard as I would like. so Heel to toe is 12.25 inches. |

hey those look great! Yea, if you get your new boots and really want to let the old ones go that'd be awsome! (and that offer still stands, if you would like a set of used saddle bags w/ mounting clip/bar i'd be more than happy to trade, the saddle bags are something that i just wont use) and i measured my puma's they measure 12 inches, and my addidas are about the same, so i bet they would fit! as far as meeting up in northern illinois, i'd have to convince my parents on that one...i will def have to give it a try though! (i need an excuse for a roadtrip with the new bike! |

if either of them ride bring them along! maybe it would be a good "bonding experience" with your dad (wink wink) lol and only if you feel really guilty about the boots. I am not worried about it at all. I plan on picking up some cortec/tourmaster bags form ft_bstrd sometime this coming summer for holding my text books as I go to class. but you may need them as a bargaining chip in the future if you need parts or a belt or anything else. I just want you to ride safe. |

I always wanted to with my dad and grandpa but my grandpa gave up riding years ago and my dad no longer has a bike... If I ever get back into my old industry I'll buy him a tube frame Buell just so we can go out and ride. |
