Well, kind of. Her first day of riding was yesterday at the MSF course and she did great! She didn't want to try the XB12R or my old Beemer so I rented the beat-a-Blast from the local H-D shop so she could practice some more in the afternoon and she put 21 miles on it around condoland here. I had a 2x4 and the round stone out there for her to slow ride around, avoid, brake and stop as close as you can to it, etc, and this place is quite enough for her to into 3rd out back. Not bad for a granny and her first time ever at the controls.  | ||

well, it doesn't seem like it spooked her that bad. the blast, if you make a few changes to it really isn't that bad of a bike. ours used to be the son's and now it's the wifes. she got really comfortable on it and right now she's trying to get as comfortable on the scg. after she get's done with the one course, i would highly suggest later on taking an intermediate course. out of curiosity where is naptown. | ||

Naples FL. 25,000 during the summer 350,000 during the winter. 84 today and mostly sunny. She has her eye on a Scg, the blast doesn't have enough grunt for her heavy foot (hand). | ||

your a bit down there. we're in the tampa area right off of 75. we have the race pipe and filter on the blast and it gave it a little more oomph. we have a big bore kit for it that we'll put in one day. went and got another scg to replace the one that i wrecked a couple years ago. it's really nice ride. | ||

When we're out on the street we wear armour, full face Scorpion EXOs', etc. Her confidence level for her first day riding amazed me, and it was pretty hot yesterday, and the drives through here were quiet, she made the choice. | ||
