'buell' on the 1125r
Dang it, Andy! Back when I got around to registering my vehicles in NC, I wanted to get "BUELL" for my S2. Since it was taken at that time I opted for "13UELL", which admittedly fits well.
My 2003 V-Rod has "H-D P4" (P4 was the codename for the V-Rod).
My 2008 XB12XT, which I refer to as the XT-BOLT has "XT-BOLT".
Still racking my brain for something for my 1125CR though. I've decided I will wait until the plates come due (October 2010) before I upgrade - unless something Buellacool pops into my head before then...

On a car, yes. Only seven for motorcycles.
But I don't really dig the lobster thing that Froggy - and others - seem to have a fetish for. The 1125CR, to me, is more like a scorpion. Especially when it's black like mine is.
And I don't really want to put something related to scorpions on my plate, working for a German company. You know the great 80's German band the Scorpions.
My ideas thus far have been:
10.15.09 (not too pro-Buell)
2BCONT? (not available)
and a few more not suitable for the general populace...
However the one (also not suitable for public consumption) that I really wanted after the announcement and figuring I would be getting a CR appears to have slipped by the NC DMV's profanity filters on their website:

What about exclusive Buell license plates? Starting with the last scg and working backwards.

Whatever your build number was is your plate number all the way back to the very first. |

I checked, and unfortunately 1250CC isn't allowed in oklahoma. One specific county has dibs on all 4-number followed by 2-letter plates. |

i'll wait till we move to tenn. to get any for the buells and got less than 4 years before i get a antique for the 83. got all the navy medaillions for this one and i like the way it rides. always scraping the pegs.
