Sure looks like a Buell......

Looks more like an Aprilia Tuono. Guess anything with a V-twin get lumped in with Buell now?

All they have is renderings and prototypes, but they will gauge interest by them and perhaps build. This is what the competition will do.

Its pretty cool looking but i dont get the looks like a buell. Im a mechanic so mabe I see things a different way. I see no ZTL, No fuel in frame, no underslung exhaust, however... I do see a belt drive. Does victory do that?

"All they have..."

There is no "they". Victory has nothing to do with that drawing. That Bezzi guy shows up on websites alla time with his own "concepts" that he attributes to various companies.

I don't know why any site trying to pass as 'journalism' reports on Bezzi's crap as being in any way factual....

Don't tell me it's not real pushrodpete,I've been waiting for Victory to step up and build a bike like that and an Adventure bike.

Victory's engine is even LESS appropriate for a sportbike than Harley's Sportster engine. Have you seen the SIZE of that thing up close?

More likely the bike would end up being a monster like that Warrior-engined standard that Yamaha sells in Europe. You can't judge the size of that thing from photos, but I've seen it in the flesh. It's HUGE.

And yes, Victory has used belt drives from Day 1.

Am I the only one that gets really annoyed when somebody renders a "dream bike", slaps a manufacturers badge on it and calls it a concept from said manufacturer?

I can make stupid sh!t up and call it news all day, too.

The prototype Victory built looks absolutely NOTHING like that rendering (and consequently, nothing like a "cafe" or "standard" as they describe it).

If Victory want to go down that road which I doubt...Their best bet if they do, would be hire Erik Buell!!!

The article itself says Victory flatly denied that sketch. Just somebody playing around. Glad to see they bothered to mention Fischer though. They need more press.
