Why don't we build you one Cityxs? I can tell you right now if I am involved, it won't be a 450. We could build something out of that orange bike you currently thrash maybe. I'm thinkin complete Uly type belt coverage or even chain drive, proper suspension and a military style snorkle and waterproof electrics and........... |

"Phoenix" is a cliche, and a bit too obvious... and brings back bad memories of a Pontiac. No, I don't have an alternative, but I've always liked Pegasus, particularly its relationship to Mt. Helicon. |

Erik Buell hates dirt bikes and the one person on the planet who wants him to build a stupid dirt bike. Dirt is for farming, asphalt is for racing. |

no. Erik Buell hates dirt bikes and the one person on the planet who wants him to build a stupid dirt bike. Dirt is for farming, asphalt is for racing. You have obviously never ridden a dirt bike. So Erik called you up to tell you he hates dirt bikes is that it??? Whatever.... |

Dirt is for farming, asphalt is for racing. Many of the great road racers (farmers) were brought up racing on the dirt and still ride and train on the dirt. Where do you think they got their skills. (Message edited by dentguy on November 23, 2009) |

Congratulations, every one of you missed the boat. MudBug (aka cityXslicker) has been crying about that damn dirtbike for over 2 years. I'm just trying to find new and creative ways to respond and maybe even make it stop. I know dirt bikes are fun, I know Erik rode them before he got into road racing, I've been to and enjoyed dirt track stock car racing, blah blah blah. This banter has been going on for a long time. CityXslicker has an over the top lust for all things MMMMUUUUDDDD, and I poke at him. It's not to be taken half as serious as you guys have. |

Erik can't hate dirt bikes too much... they (and the snowmobile) are responsible for buying several of his orthopedic surgeons some pretty nice boats. If he does decide he hates them, I get dibs on his Yamaha! |

Yeah . . if he hates them much more . . . he'll have to clean out the garage and the back closet full of moto-x gear . . . |
