Something to do with the valve adjustment in the 1125 is the same part in the v-rod motor. The shims or followers or something. Someone will remember and clear up what I'm trying to say. |

I suppose it is possible, heck for awhile there you could use Kawasaki shims in the two-valve BMW K engines (something BMW STRONGLY discouraged), but the two engines come from completely different sources, so I still feel justified by saying there isn't a single part in the 1125 models shared with Harley. |

I hope the truth comes out and there is a public burning at the stake for the SOB's that are responsible.... |

Just as I am coming to grips with the fact that my XB is one of a dying breed on a dead end path of evolution, these type of posts come up. That bike is sexy. I would have loved to have seen it in the real world. I hope one day Erik is making bikes again. I know that the XB is dead, long live my XB. |

Don't Buell use a totally different part numbering system? (Even for XB parts?) "I hope the truth comes out and there is a public burning at the stake for the SOB's that are responsible...." +1 on that! For the truth to come out people need to know about this bike. Make some noise!!!! eg http://www.sportbikes.net/forums/general-sportbike s/425983-buell-couldve-been-what-do-you-think.html Someone (Bads1?) said the pic of the bike looks like the town square area of East Troy. Does it look familiar to anyone else? (Message edited by lemonchili_x1 on November 16, 2009) |

Sorry, I wasn't discounting the 1125. I just forgot about it. Been out of the loop for sometime. Apologies. Rocket |

"Does it look familiar to anyone else?" Its Wisconsin fo sho. The tag on the red truck is a plate from here. What I can't figure out is where the exhaust is. |

Under the bike of course. Looks like the tip is angled up, behind and under the riders foot. |

It looks like Mukwonago. I've seen the intersection before.... I just can't remember exactly where it is. |

come on guys ! we can figure this out. I just explored downtown East Troy on google maps and didn't find anything. If someone can get that plate number PM me. we could then get a general local. |

Why is knowing the geographic location of the picture so important? It doesn't make it any more or less of a Buell, does it ??? |

They're looking to do some dumpster diving. |

Oh, I thought they were looking for the intersection of the spy photo not the dumpster photo. |

Why not just ask Court where it is. Unless you believe it has been broken up. But then someone implied earlier there is more than one, which looking at the pic I'd say was pretty obvious. Rocket |

I saw that pictures of the "new" Buell and my jaw dropped. It is a thread like this that I had been waiting patiently for; but I guess I should be careful what I wish for because it is tragic reminder of what Buell's future was going to present to the world and it's rubbing salt it open wounds. Can you imagine that bike in production?! Buell had an ace up their sleeves... How many steps are there to grieving because this isn't getting any easier... It sure is a shame if Buell had this bike ready to go for the street and also for the track, plus MV Agusta. What a pair of motorcycles, that got cancelled....and we just have cruiser vtwins now. REX |
