great job all my fellow badwebbers!!! he is such a great kid and great athlete, his dad has no idea what a troop he rallied when he came by my work and asked me if i could go to that website and vote...i will have him come back by and show him all the responses on here...about an hour and a half to go and you can only vote once from any ip address. If you have voted already, thanks so much. Wolf the peace prize thing is hilarious as well. Thanks again for taking the time to help out a friend. |

Nice. Members from all over on a Buell forum are swaying the vote in a HIGH SCHOOL fan favorite poll. Xbrad9r, I'm sure your intentions are good, but I just don't think it's right. Sorry guys, but going to a site to vote for a high school player that (I don't think I'm going out on a limb here) many or most of you don't really know or know much about and you aren't local is wrong. I'm sure he is a great kid. I'm not questioning that at all. But why not leave it to the locals that know these football players and their accomplishments to vote for a fan favorite? It's high school football. How would you feel if you were one of the other kids or their parent and found out people from all over (on a Buell forum) were voting just because a friend of the family asked them to. What kind of example is that setting? Flame away if you want. I just don't think it's right. Just my opinion. |

It's just a popularity contest, just like the student government was back in High School. I got only 2 votes back then, one was mine... |

voting has ended, Taylor won by 64 votes it appears. Thanks for the help to all who voted. By the way, Badweb kicked Facebook's butt on this one. I knew I could count on you guys. |

Well I for one live in range of their schools. My son's school played against some of those listed in his district. As far as these contests being fair, who the heck would set it up on the World Wide Web and expect only the neighbors to vote. It is a high school popularity contest, not unlike national politics. Winning by extension of the people who know you is still you being popular. Congrats Taylor, you have been proven to be most popular, and from reading about you, seems like you are pretty good at doing real things too! |

You might want to un-hotlink that URL and have people just copy and paste. It might raise a few red flags if all the referring pages come up as the BadWeb. I still voted, though. |

I hope we can get this sort of response and support when we start writing letters in support of Buell. |
