If Harley-Davidson's stock keeps going up th non riding general public who purchase stocks may think that HD executives where right about closing Buell. |

Stocks are smoke and mirrors.... investor confidence plays a large part in the market. It's all about the "feelings". |

I wonder what would happen to the share price if it could be proven that the closing of buell was part of a vendeta.. |

Very few in the non-riding general public have any idea what is going on with Buell. In fact most of them have no idea what a Buell is. G |

We'll more to the point, If each member reaches out to their local news organization ie (NBC,ABC and CBS) and ask them to investigate why Harley-Davidson who has bleeding finical loses won't sale Buell Motorcycle Company to investors who are willing to buy the Buell company. If the news organization asks why, let them know that Harley-Davidson is willing to sell MV Agusta an Italian motorcycle company that Harley-Davidson bought around 15 months ago and have had no offers. Harley-Davidson won't sell the Buell company that people want to buy, but are willing to sell a company no one is willing to buy. Please remember to be polite, direct and to the point. |

>>>>I think they just might be in some real trouble! Do some research . . . Study the bios of the top executives. Study the bios of the Board of Directors. Read their assessment of how they seriously misjudged the motorcycle market . .. the very one they are in. Read the number of different "plans" they've offered up in the last 18 months. Read about Harley-Davidson having to borrow $600,000,000 at an interest rate higher than my credit card to finance motorcycles. Read about HDFS financing motorcycles. Read how they lost $110,000,000 and fired some folks. Look to see if there has been any REAL change . . . Note that the changes there HAVE been involve bringing in a couple folks who have, at 59, never ridden a motorcycle until the last 4 months. Read about trading mangoes for concessions to reduce/abate the 60 tariff to bring Harley's into India. Ask why someone building a factory needs to worry about tariffs . . and what the hell are they going to do with those mangoes. Read about their optimism and excitement with Buells success . . . . the announcement of the new world class consolidated Buell headquarters. Read, only one financial reporting period lately, how Buell is worthless and they are taking a $150,000,000 hit to simply trash the company. Read about this fictitious "core group" they are going back to focus on . . . . Toe the tracks . . . (google it) and listen to some of the nervous stirrings as 2,200 folks wonder if they are in the next wave to be "released". Go sort through your inbox and answer all the e-mails from your friends who used to work at Harley and are wanting references (that's Harley-Davidson, not Buell). How much would you like to invest . . . ? |

I googled up a secret spy shot of the new H-D corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility. This represents the ultimate resolution of their back to basics refocus. Image found at http://www.telegraph.co.uk/telegraph/multimedia/ar chive/01401/Harley_shed_620_1401162c.jpg I couldn't find much when I googled "toe the tracks" 8-1 |

Ding-ding-ding . . we have a winner. Tossed that baby right in the trash . . . they seem to be developing a habit of doing that with valuable things they neither understand nor appreciate. |
