Never thought of that one...no sponsor bike,no show. Back in the day,Robbie Knievel had jump bikes(500 Honda's) that had NO mfg ID on them. Not sure what the heck was going on there, but evidently he liked the bike for jumping, but Honda wasn't giving him anything (????) |

Dana I understood that HD mandated it the new Xr sportster will be used instead of the buells, ( poor bubba, you will see just how tallented he realy is stunting on those things ) sad he had two great young guys here a couple of weeks ago, doing the circle wheelies and lotsa feet up slides and burnouts, the show end was all 3 buells burning out till the tires went they exited in the roar of the engines and a wall of arcid white smoke a truly fitting end for the hooligans... I thought that HD owned the Buells if not they would be collectable I would think. |

I thought Buell owned them but I guess not. I figured by this copy and paste from another forum that HD is retaining his contract>>>>>>>>>>> Hello Ya'll, As you guys know, Big changes for the show in 2010 because of the unbelievable situation. However, With the addition of the new riders in the show, it's never been better. Then comes the Bad BUELL News... I don't have enough room for 5 Buells to be sitting in my garage. We are going all Harley-Davidson for 2010 and need to sell the Buells. If you are interested in a official Team Bubba Blackwell Stunt Bike, let me know. I've sold two painted X1 for $25,000 each and a XB9 Lightning for $15,000 I have a 2004 XB12 Lightning, 2006 XB9 Lightning, 2007 XB9 Firebolt, and two Blast. All are show ready as we just did Carolina Coast HD Last Saturday the 7th. If you are interested, email me at blackwellonbuell@hotmail.com Bubba "YES, I think closing Buell SUCKS" |

"I already know Bubba has got all his Buell's up for sale." We sold Bubba a Buell when he was doing a show for us this summer, and took one of his Buells in on trade. I guess I can safely proclaim that I am the last guy to sell Bubba Blackwell a Buell. ~jammer Our two shows for 17July2010 with him will somehow not be the same, nor what it could have been. Yeah... just not into stunting. Heck, I've had mine for practically 4 years, and to my knowledge I've never had the front wheel off the ground. I'm lame.... er, "tame". ~SM |

I copied this off Bubba Blackwell's website: Hello Ya'll, It is with great sadness that the Buell Motorcycle company will no longer produce the Great American Motorcycle Fun machine. They are another victim of the current economical down turn in the world. I have enjoyed a GREAT relationship with not only the higher ranking people at Buell, but all employees I would see. Every time I was at the factory, it was clear that everyone there was passionate about the job, and goals for the company that they were in partnership with. Other companies can only hope for the passion to be shared by their employees as Buell enjoyed. I am not at all involved in any decision making but, I would expect that the REAL "Adult" sportbike will be back, HOPEFULLY!!! The Bubba Blackwell stunt show has enjoyed a great season with some of the best riders coming on board this year. We have NO PLANS to QUIT!!! Efforts are being made now, to make changes to better serve the Harley-Davidson community and continue to offer a perfect market partner to not only entertain the dealerships current customers, but bring out new, curious customers. Stay tuned for the changes and upcoming events that we are working on. Team Bubba Blackwell |

Neil your M2 may be worth $17,000 now! Congrats. If he would have beat it around the block it would be a cool $25k! |
