I have been posting for the last half hour on my new iPhone. Can't believe it took me this long to get one. They are pretty cool. |

Now imagine how easy and fun it is when your phone has a real keyboard! |

I hate technology. I hate iPhones. I was scarred by an experience with a girl from class. Purple clothes every day. Purple books...purple iPhone. Thought she was soooo awesome, when really, she was sooooooo last season! Give me a good "old" desktop any day. |

Froggy Posted on Monday, November 16, 2009 - 08:37 pm: -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Now imagine how easy and fun it is when your phone has a real keyboard! It takes about a day to get used to the touch screen keyboard. After having my first iphone for about a month a friend at work wanted me to check out his blackberry. I hated typing on it, and that was after using a samsung blackjack for a year before switching to the iphone. Don't believe what the marketing departments of all the iphone wanna-bes. Typing on the iphone is fantastic. |

I LOVE the Internet, but not a fan of mobile browsing. Slow, awkward, expensive. I don't love you that much. It can wait till I get home. ~SM |

AT&T is the biggest downside. I've been with AT&T for years, ready to go to Verizon, as soon as the apple-at&t exclusive deal is over. Verizon has great service with crappy phones. |

Any phone that makes lightsaber sounds when you swing it is the SHIZNIT. And actually, yes, AT&T might be my problem. Not a huge fan of having to sit outside to get a signal. ~SM (Message edited by Swordsman on November 17, 2009) |

I'm playing on Vamps side on this one. If I didn't have to have a phone for work I wouldn't carry one at all. I have too much of my own life to worry, wonder, or care what everyone else is doing at any exact moment. ...and I still have a rotary phone just like the one above but it's in the stylish mustard yellow of the '70's. |

"I LOVE the Internet, but not a fan of mobile browsing. Slow, awkward, expensive. I don't love you that much. It can wait till I get home." Not at all for $30.00 a month extra to my wireless bill...I get unlimited internet access with unlimited email and text messaging. The only way it is awkward is if your are surfing while the cashier is trying to ring you up or when the waitress is trying to take your order, my wife work in retail and she ignores rude A-holes like that and helps the next person in line. I use mine at work between the 30 to 60 minutes cuts I have on my lathe so not awkward for me very practical and helpful. As for it being slow, it is compared to cable or DSL but still faster than dialup. I have had no issues with AT&T...The only problem I have is, I lose reception in my house damn AT&T or could it be the metal roof I have. |

A Quote>>> "And actually, yes, AT&T might be my problem. Not a huge fan of having to sit outside to get a signal." No problem here in upstate the only place indoors I have a problem here is in my house but then again I do have a metal roof. Do not have a problem in any home with out a metal roof. I went to verizon store when I started at GE because I heard they had a discount for employees for the pretty much the same package I have it would have cost me $28 more a month and I would not get roll over minutes currently I carry an average 2000 roll over minutes a month...I was going to switch until AT&T I found out AT&T gave a discount as well. Since I have no issues with AT&T's coverage up here why spend the extra $28 and have a $hitty phone. |

Yep, every time I post from my Blackberry, I get one chance and one chance only to edit. Don't know why that is. Apart from that, it's great. (Message edited by hmartin on November 18, 2009) |
