Would you still have bought it if it was 200RWHP or would that be too powerful? |

I woulda pimped my chick to raise the money Court. It would be hard to get some one to pay me $25k to spend an evening with her, but $25 a turn 1000 times woulda been easy. |

Definitely not too little, but sadly too late.... That is a very nice looking bike that obviously would have won buyers of other brands over! Oh wait, HD only wants the same old customers.... The more we learn the more we see the true depths of HD's poor decision making. |

Look at that front rim! It's spoked, well sort of.
I wonder if it's Carbon, Mg, or Al. I want one for sure! |

"Nevermind the bike...Who wants to sell me one of those yellow jackets ???.Looks like vanson batch on it. They would would make it for for you." Vanson made them in three colors about ten years ago... I have the red one to match my S3. |

You know, it's not really about lemmings and being different- it's about aesthetically pleasing and butt-f'ing ugly. It is a sin against all that is good in the world if H-D has kept that bike from being the next Buell model. If it performs as well, if not better than the 1125 series and looks that good it's a freakin' tragedy! I can only hope that H-D has only put an end to "current" Buell production, and somehow EB has figured out a way to continue with "future" Buell production (like this model). If that were the case- I have a very good feeling about the future of American sportbike production. |

>>>>It is a sin against all that is good in the world if H-D has kept that bike from being the next Buell model. It's not like there is nothing that can be done. I think folks are getting a flavor for the absurdity of "discontinuing Buell to concentrate on core markets". Not even the Wall Street analysts were swallowing that without water. |

Looks good, kind of makes me think of current Triumph, or BMW, not so much Japanese. Does not have the replica-robot look, but was obviously designed with track days in mind. Look at the rear indicators and tail light. Also, the airbox looks to have an added or enhance character line. I was always quietly hoping for a streeterized XBRR...but this would have been a much more of a mass appeal type of bike. Hey, way to go HD. |

Maybe I'll be alone on this, but here's what I'm seeing. The problem with Buell starting up again even remotely like it is now (or was, or whatever) is that HD owns the rights, patents, etc. What do you all see in that yellow bike, beyond what appears to be a dead-sexy 1125-esque sport bike? I'll tell you. I see a bike without a Harley motor. I see a bike without a belt drive. I see a bike without the typical ZTL wheel, so perhaps the rotor mounting system has been changed. I see a bike with the same underslung exhaust nearly every other manufacturer is grasping onto. I see a bike that, unless patents have already been filed and approved, has only one major protected feature that I can see, and that's the fuel-in-frame - and let's face it, that idea ain't exactly new and there's more than one way to skin a cat. Anyone pickin' up what I'm layin' down? |

Good point but speculative. What I see is a bike that shows clear evidence of weight being removed in lots of places. A significant lightning of the 1125 along with a slipperier fairing and maybe even some added power would have set the sportbike world on fire. |

WOW!! I said I would never sell my XB...I would for that! As far as it looking like A Japanese bike, people say that about any sport bike with fairings. But I would lie cheat and steal for that bike. |

good looking bike. It gets rid of the OMG guppy pods. Just in time for riding season, it would have been the ticket to get the squids off of Japanese. Several somebodies dropped the ball on that one. Nice bike. Pity it ends up like the Rooster... cut and in a dumpster. |

I just wanna know where they stuck the battery in that paper-thin, sexy-ass tail section. I love the angled ramp from rider to passenger seat - the vertical bump on my CR can get...noticable for a long leg guy like me when I scoot back. I bet the taillight/turn signal/license plate module has 3 screws and one plug, for track days. NICE |

Did the incoming CEO of Harley see this new bike? Yeah. There is no chrome, stereo or touring pack so he dumped it.... |

Get what I am laying down . . if one person has it . . that's a very temporary situation. Indeed, just working on the worst-case assumption that Harley ain't selling. Keeping my fingers crossed. Seeing this bike now almost makes me glad that Buell is down and out for the time being as I'd be trading the CR in on that thing, and I don't need to added expense right now! |

It seems to me, as usual, Court knows something, but can't let the cat out of the bag. I have a feeling by his statements in this thread and the other concerning the bike pictured, if there was enough letter writing maybe HD might give this a second thought, or, it was just a publicity stunt?? |

Stop thinking Harley. Think Buell. Period. Detach from Harley. Buell. Pure speculation on my part...but reading between Court's lines...this is where it takes me for now. |
