Generally, all it takes is a dented frame and scratched swingarm to total an XB...especially if the bike is already in poor shape. All the little stuff that gets damaged can really add up. I've seen a few looped at 5 mph that've landed on a side and/or broken the subframe and consequently tore up plenty. ...but...anyway...that guy is something else. | ||

one frame scratch in Michigan and your bike is totaled! if it makes it through the powder coat and into the metal you need a new frame. not to sure about dents but I am betting its the same story. | ||
