What software do you guys use that allows you to post up huge pics??? I have been using the xat.com software available here since I've been here but my pics get dwarfed by huge one!! I have picture size envy I guess... |

MS Office Picture Manager: open your photo in this basic Office program; on "picture" tab menu, click "resize." on right, click on "predefined width x height" and choose either small web size or large email size, then save the photo as whatever you want (if you simply save, it will change the size of the original file, so save it as some other file name, maybe in your "Stoopit Badweb Pikchers" folder That'll do it. But I also like Photobucket, because you can put a clickable thumbnail image on a forum, which doesn't take as much space on a thread. |

I have a Flickr.com Pro account. I love it! But it does cost $25 per year. |

For Windows do a Google search for a Power Tool called "resizer". For Mac users, it's built in. |

I agree xat is fine and free but like Glitchs' pic above- when I have a pic to post and it is tiny it is dwarfed by a much larger picture which looks a lot better. Particularly when you are selling a bike, parts, etc. If I get my pics down to the max size for posting they are small. Too small in my opinion. Then again the "Too Big" option is too big too! |

" use photobucket as well. Thing is I can post a pic on here and photobucket seems to delete it. Why ?????" They're head honchos are very strict, but they aren't very consistant. |

How can you get a thumb nail size picture back to its original size. I have some really old pictures and I've tried re-sizing them with the Microsoft Picture Manager and the picture gets distorted |

CSI can do that for you. They have equipment to pull hi-rez face shots out of shadows of low-rez video security cameras. Heck, I don't think they even need a picture to start with, they can give the desired image from nothing. |
