No it says they expanded to a major manufacturer when Harley-Davidson bought into Buell in 1994. They were in Mukwonago in 94 and 95. That is the second location. |

The deal was made in February 1993, work started and the first bikes were made in 1994. |

The first moved into the old Woodcrafter building while MJG Properties was building the 2719 building. The move from Mukwonago to East Troy was in response to certain legal provisions that made it undesirable for Buell to locate in a county adjacent (Waukesha) to Milwaukee County so they moved right across the county line to East Troy in Walworth County. That's "ROUGHLY" the way it went . . . I'd have to look to get exact dates and stuff. |
