All the one's I've seen are all about the same. Run on propane, stainless steel kettle.

I guess just make sure it's big enough for the size bird you wanna fry. Make sure you thaw the bird completely and don't use it indoors. Best recommendations I can make.

get an electric one much safer and the temp doesnt fluctuate plus you can use them indoors

Every thanksgiving we do a big turkey fry in our neighborhood. Last year was 8 fryers and 42 birds. I'm sure it will be over 50 this year. Ours are all propane.
