Yup, still waiting to hear from my brother who is stationed in Ft. Hood. He has been out in the field training for 3 weeks so i don't think he would have been at that location... Still, me and Jack Daniels are having conversations right now. I'm a little on edge! | ||

Christians have done MORE than their share of mass killings and crazy shit. I chalk it up to a mentally over the edge nut. Who will be the first to blame Obama? I am supposed to be starting my general medicine rotation at Darnall Army Medical Center on Fort Hood this coming Monday. Pretty crazy. I was out riding my bike all around this area today. | ||

It is being reported that he was in fact a Muslim and that he has made statements about it being OK for Muslims to "rise up" against the US being in Iraq and Afghanistan. I'm more than willing to wait for the facts to shake out, but if that's the facts I don't want to just brush them aside. | ||

Let's not forget to keep the victims and their families in our prayers. Ft. Hood is one of my companies project sites. All of our people are safe, but when I spoke with my contact down there, he said they were literally hiding under desks and staying away from windows. His exact words were, "Man, this sucks worse than government health care". LOL! At least he has his sense of humor.  | ||

If it's the truth does it matter where I heard it? As I said I'm more than willing to wait for the fact to shake out, but that is being reported. If it's the truth why do you feel that it should be buried? I just don't get it? Who was blaming an entire religion? I didn't see that from anyone. The irony I see is that you don't want to paint a group for the actions of a single person (Which I haven't seen done here) then you go on to say " Did you ever think maybe they DON'T want us there?". It just dawned on me! If gets accepted that this is a terrorist attack by a Muslim then I goes down in history as the first failure to protect US soil from Muslim terrorist in 8 years.
