American Motorcyclist ama mag and not a word about BUELL being done in that I can find. I just decided I will not renew my membership they can scratch if we are not worth 1 written word ass wholes | ||

Only the weeklys can get the news out quickly, e.g., Cycle News. The new Cycle World hit the subs a few days ago; Edwards is shown as the ed.... he was let go a couple of weeks ago. | ||

yeah I kinda figured that much but I don't know they could at least have an Editors section where they can give last minute coments. I aint so mad anymore but I was a little hot under the collar when I read it and nothing | ||

This mag had to go into print and get mailed out to who knows how many middlemen before heading to their final destination... I'd say with the announcement a mere three weeks back, it was more "too late" than "last minute"... I know nothing of the industry, so I'm just talking out my tuckus. | ||

Just got Dec 09 Cycle World and it still has a Buell ad. These things take time. I know you calmed down some, but to cancel an AMA membership because they didn't write something about the Buell shutdown? They do A LOT to protect motorcyclists rights. I'm sure they'll get to it. Road Racing World is the only publication that has covered it that I have seen and that is because they have a much tighter schedule. Like stated above most the mags were sent to the press at least 6 weeks to 2 months ago. Sport Rider had a nice comparison between the CR and a Duc Streetfighter. | ||

I think with next month's issues (I guess January for many of them) you'll see some bigger headlines. Whether they liked any of the Buells or not, this is still big news. | ||

Funny- this month's Cycle World has a whole bunch of letters to the editor about the Buell "You don't have to wave" ad. The responses seem to be almost exactly 50/50 pro/con. |
