I'm curious about regional asking prices for Buells on your local craigslist sites. Currently on the Milwaukee site I count 17 Buells in the motorcycle section. Six Blasts from 2001-2007 ranging in price from $1850-$5000. A '97 S3 for $3000. An '01 M2 for $2800. An '02 X1 for $5500. An '05 XB9R @ $4000, '06 XB9SX @ $5700, '07 XB9 @ $5200. Two '06 XB12R's @ $5200 & $5700 (I didn't check if it was the same bike repriced). An '07 CityX @ $3999. Two XB12Ss's, an '06 @ $5500, and an '07 @ $6800. Just curious how these prices compare to other areas. I had my M2 listed in the Spring/early Summer with a make offer and didn't get one hit. I also had the '91 H-D FLT listed which didn't get a hit either, not so much as a single inquiry. So even when it was the riding season here the local market was dead from what I could see. Oh well. | ||

Yep. Hasn't been moved once since all summer, possibly not since October '08. Sitting all forlorn (sp?) in the corner of the garage. The S2 and FL got all the miles for the last 12 months. I'll probably start it up over Thanksgiving weekend to flow the carb some, then slide it back into the corner. | ||

Haven't checked lately but I've never seen a big buell under 5k in the ok city area. Blasts go up from time to time in the 2-3k range. Lots of choppers with tuber engines for sale though  | ||

I thought I might see a drop in prices since Buell went under, but that hasn't been the case here in NE Fla. The bikes seem to be selling at about the same price as they were before the announcement. | ||

There's a great service at searchallcraigs-dot-com that does just that. Put in your search item and it will show you all craigslist listings on the continent for that item. | ||
