I have been doing some work on the STT and I think every tool I have needed is in my tool bag under the seat of the Uly. I got tired of pulling the seat so I just tossed the tool bag in the top case. During my ride to work today on the Uly, with the sun rising, the smell of the fall leaves... it was time to loft the front wheel. That bag of tools really works well... as if the Uly needed the help. I think I pulled a wheelie after every stop and every slow turn. I love this bike!! Can't wait for lunch or the ride home!

Thats the 2nd beaded seat cover I've seen on a bike. The first was on an old Concours. Does it roll you off in corners? |

That was the first prototype of the Uly Comfort Kit. Needless to say, Buell made some improvements to my design..... LOL |

Does it roll you off in corners? No, it stays put and you wouldn't believe how well it works! (no monkey but) I think i paid $9.99 at Walmart. Made a few cuts and it was good to go. |

I think I pulled a wheelie after every stop and every slow turn. AMAZING! On my ride this morning I was doing the same thing! 1st gear, 3500 rpm, crack the throttle... WHEELIE TIME!!! Every time! I've got much learning to do, but this bike is making learning much easier! |

beaded covers rock. They are so comfortable, the only problem is you slip around alot. I'm on the lookout for some type of nonslip spray on something or other, but, I'm not sure it exists |

I had to change it to black, so I have a fly screen waiting. Also I ordered a set of keys for it and a clutch cable for the Uly. I also ordered a two up seat for it. I hope to be able to touch the ground a little better. I thought it would be a little closer to the ground than the Uly but I'm still on the balls of my feet. |

i really liked the test ride on the tt, i'm glad that i held out for the xt though. i'm wondering what the r would look like with white bodywork and red wheels and windscreen. for what ever reasons, white really makes these bikes look great. |

Man! First we wheelie at the same time this morning, then we get parts in at the same time this afternoon! My handlebar bag and comfort kit came in UPS about an hour ago. Everything but the internal shroud has been installed already. |

Came 'with' the new bike from Valley HD/Buell. They had to order it. Took exactly 2 weeks to go from Buell to them in WV, and then to me in OH. |

This today is a good day thing reminded me! Freakin sunday... NOT a good day. Went on a ride with the girly (first time on the back of the Uly) and my buddy on his KLR. Made it about half an hour away before my GPS said it's battery was low. At a red light I jumped off to get the power cable out of the trunk, and found the trunk unlocked. Convenient! Until I went to lock it up and my keys weren't in my pocket. Didn't take but 2 seconds to realize that I left my keys in the trunk lock when I left the house half an hour ago. All of my house keys, work keys, and car keys were gone! (including the only copy I have of my $250 Audi key!) A panicked drive back, and I ended up finding them! I decided just for kicks we'd take a tiny construction equipment back road to get to the freeway instead of the direct route, which proved (not only enjoyable) but to be my saving grace, as the dips and bumps knocked the keys out just half a mile before the freeway entrance ramp, where they'd surely be gone for good. So they were in the middle of the road, completely untouched. I also pulled a large accidental wheelie after I found the keys and needed to catch up to my buddy. Scared the bajesus outa the girly and I. Needless to say I got smacked on the back. |

That scenario is common with me. Wife on the back nice wheelie followed by a smack. Hope she enjoyed the ride |

She freaken loves the Uly. Because of my screw-up, we didn't get a nice long ride as expected, but it was still over 2 hours. Took her a few times smacking into my back before I kindly informed her (or not) that she had grab handles now. She's used to supporting herself by putting her hands on the airbox cover while braking. But the Uly's so huge she couldn't reach it and would face plant into me. Looks like next year she'll be coming along to an event or two. |

I'm running out of things to do with the STT. Did the breather re-route. Headlight mod was done. New exhaust can installed. Changed it to black. (Picked up about 5 mph and now Chuck Norris can't catch me) now if that seat thingy would hurry up and get here... |

Yeah- me too. Other than having to attend a work meeting on my day off I did as much round town riding on the Shovel as I could, GREAT weather!! Stopped by some good buddies' independent on/offroad MC shop, then by my old place of employment, then to my favorite bar, to get chicken wings- to my surprise, they had their old free taco bar open for happy hour! So I ate wings and tacos, drank a couple beers, even had some horny blonde AWOL wife hittin on me- hot, but WAAAY nutty, and not nearly as interesting as my good sweetie who's coming home from her bowling league soon. Good day, indeed.
