Blake, that's the first time I've seen one knowing what I'm looking at. That's one stunning looking motorcycle. How well Erik looks in that pic with book shades and chics. Thanks for sharing. Rocket |

911, Mini and Beetle actually make money, and have sold in really large numbers. That is a key difference, all the difference in the world as far as I can see. I don't know Busman. All the difference in the world if it's the money from big sales that makes the world go around. Everything else aside the world is a better place for having MV's. So if they make just enough to survive. Make just enough they run at a loss, but somehow survive. Isn't the important thing, they do survive, and it's not about the numbers as long as there are at least MV's? Wouldn't you rather see just a few Buells even if it meant more about getting the bikes out there rather than making a profit beyond a fairly reasonable living? Wouldn't a few Buells be better than no Buells? And in this we must surely agree that however many MV's, at least there still are MV's. Would you like Mr Buell to build some Buells rather than no Buells? I think he will if there isn't a more fortuitous plan coming forward. I think he'll build again, and I hope he does. That RR looks stunning. You can't just bury a bike like that. Not if it's as good as you lot are saying it is. Rocket |

Porsche took the pi55 with the Cayenne here. I know a couple of people who bought them new. After a year of ownership one guy I know took it back for a trade up and they offered him £32000 which is less than half he paid for it from them new a year earlier. Such stories were not uncommon. Another thing which killed it here was the petrol doing 8mpg! Rocket |

I used to be a Porsche fanatic. The current cars are not what they used to be. No more 300k miles without taking the heads off on a 911. They do not stand behind their cars like they used to. The last aircooled 993's hold their value better than the 996's. Motors go suicidal quite frequently. The Cayanne is a Toureg with a larger motor. The Panamera , I don't know what to call it. I hope MV does well with their latest models. I really hope that Erik can continue to put bikes together so I have something to look forward to. |

Is there a street version of the 1125RR? Have I seen a pic of one with pillion seat? Do they have chain drive only coz it's a track / race only bike or not? And what is a XB12RR? ........................ MCN published pics of the updated for 2010 MV 1000F4. Talking aside from the new 1000cc engine, I'm not convinced the latest updated styling is as nice as Tamburini's styling. Of course, I'll reserve judgement (not that anyone cares for mine, lol) until I've seen one up close and personal. But all those slashes and holes in the fairing don't do it for me. I like the enclosed traditional look. I'm not convinced the organ pipe square silencers is neat as the original round ones. Interestingly MCN's man reporting back from Tokyo tells us the new F4 is lighter and more powerful than the original, and rather shockingly he said the F4 it's replacing was the heaviest in class and you could tell when riding it compared to the big 4's offerings. Well I never considered the F4 a heavy bike, and if it's correct that it's a few pounds heavier than others, I wouldn't have said it was noticeable given the MV's handling prowess which seems cemented in fact by most all pro testers. Then there's the all new engine, still 5 radial valves and variable inlet tract, but it's giving away near 100cc to the engine it's replacing. Ah me thinks, what are the regulations for SBK racing? Fours at 1000cc and V's at 1200cc. Is that right? Rocket |

Buell was reportedly fixin' to release a street version of the 1125RR. Been seeing some post here of magazine ads for an 1125RS, not sure if that is the animal or not. Word was there was in work and parts ready to start building the street bike version, fully faired, new bodywork, and yes chain driven even. |

Upon further investigation it's obvious that, no, that's not the street version of the RR. Sorry. |

Thanks Blake. So this is not an RR but just an 1125R, which is what. A fully faired 1125?
