just got another issue of HOG magazine and would like to know how I cancel what ever it is that I done to recieve this s#!t. Everytime I walked past the trash today I got even more pissed off. I would like to see the look on HD's faces when the realize someday that the babyboomers are gone and only ones left are Generation X, and thier going under but anyway that is another post. Can anyone tell me how to get off that mailing list. Thanks. | ||

By the way, the gal on page seven of the new issue (Terri Miller, shown carefully hand-pinstriping a 2010 CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide front fender) had nothing to do with Harley-Davidson's decision to close down Buell. Nor did anyone else in the magazine, with the obvious exception of Mr. Keith Wandell, pictured on page 66 in his piece entitled "The Heart and Soul of Harley." Perhaps the piece should have been entitled "The Heartless Soul of [The New] Harley." Be that as it may, the rest of the folks in the magazine - including the owners, writers, photographers, publishers, producers, printers and distributors - are probably just as sorry to see Buell go as you are. I think that's more indicative of how out of the blue this decision was- no one saw it coming. Just call the 800 number and politely tell customer service that due to H-D's decision to kill you Buell you no longer wish to receive correspondence from them or, better yet, you no longer will be doing business with H-D. I personally wonder how long I will feel disgusted and angered every time I see anything with HARLEY DAVIDSON written on it. It unfortunately feels like it's gonna be a long, long time. | ||

I haven't been too p.o.'d until I got the latest Hog rag and an email blast from Smoky Mtn HD. It always bugged me that there was never any mention of Buell. Now it really ticks me off. No, "thanks for being a valued customer" no "we've got you covered" email or mail. Just more silence towards us Bastard step kids. I traded a VRod in on my 06 Uly. No HD products in my future. I'll gladly defect from HD. My dealer can go F himself. As I rode my Uly today I remember my dealer who made me pay for a new battery under warranty, who failed to fix my warped front rotor under warranty, who wouldn't replace my BAS until I insisted, who left loose and missing parts after service. Good riddance smoky Mtn HD. God bless my awesome Uly! It has survived despite HD thanks to BadWeb members and their advice and support. (Message edited by Orangeulius on November 01, 2009) | ||

here's an idea, save all H-D materials received in the mail and put them in a "take to homecoming" box/bag and when we have the HOG ROAST we can use it to build the fire. With the rate i am receiving crap from HD lately, we should have a fire you can see from Pluto, or at least Uranus...haha | ||
