just a thought here, with the economy the way it is and companies spending money where they will get the most bang for their proverbial buck...we need (more than ever before) to pay back those who support our love of Buell. Badweb sponsors are tops on the list and have been a great asset and service to us. I hope all will stay on board with us for future parts, service and apparel business. But Geico insurance took a huge step sponsoring the Buell bikes in racing this year. I think we should give Geico a call and thank them for their sponsorship of Buell racing. If you are not a customer of theirs, consider switching to them even if it is a few $$$ more and let them know you are going with them because of their Buell sponsorship. I personally will only spend $ at a HD store that gets credited to a Buell account. My complete refusal to ever spend a buck on anything that will show income for HD products directly may not break the company, but if enough of us do the same we can sure make it hurt. |

I have and I did. When I bought my new Buell 19 months ago I went with Geico. They were fairly priced, and supported the brand. When the survey came in the mail and asked why I went with them, I replied it was due to them supporting the brand I rode in AMA. |

A Geico quick online quote was about $1500 a year less than what I am paying with Progressive, so I might be making the switch once my coverage expires in February. I need to call and get a more accurate quote, they will only do up to 3 of my bikes online, and don't have the 1125CR listed (I picked "Other touring" for it ) |

Now I feel even better about going with Geico. The reason I did on my '09 1125R was that they were exponentially cheaper than everybody else. But now I can say I did it for "Buell support" reasons Mike |

BadWeB is tight community and I think for the most part stands behind all of its active sponsors. I agree to never ever even step foot in a Harley dealer unless there is a Buell sign hanging out front! This board has some really good sponsors! I'm talking the BEST in the Buell world....the BEST!! Im not saying this because I am a sponsor, im saying this because I have personally dealt with other sponsors that are so high on my respectable list its not even funny! American Sport Bike, Liberty, Special Ops, Dark Horse, Trojan, Grand Stand and there are many many more that I have never talked to, but I have only heard positive things about! In times like these I hope we can all stick together and keep these good folks alive and well!! It is very sad HD shut Buell down, for that I have no problem saying I hands down hate Harley as a company! Erik will be back, but for now he's keeping busy making sure all the last Buell owners are taken care of, which to me is an honorable thing!! Long live Erik, BadWeB, all our great sponsors and last but not least the men and women who keep this board active........YOU! Ride safe! -Robert www.xblights.com |

Sorry, Geico won't be getting my money. Never had a good quote with them. Always wanting more. Allstate is where I'll be staying. |

Allstate did not even want to talk about the buell. They had coverage on my HD but wanted twice as much for the buell compared to Geico. They were about the same on the HD. So now Geico has all my bikes |

Geico will not be getting my money either. Not that I have anything against them, but according to their website - "GEICOŽ Motorcycle insurance is not available in Michigan, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Delaware. " Not sure why, but it seems that an insurance company advertising their motorcycle insurance prowess would at least attempt to provide that insurance in all states. I mean if others can do it why can't they? |

"GEICOŽ Motorcycle insurance is not available in Michigan, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Delaware. " Some states have restrictive (read "profit-killing") regulations to "protect" the consumer. |
