Saw a pic of one once. There was also some company that had a centrally placed perimeter brake with a spoked rim I think. That was out of europe? Nightmare to work on but looked neat. You guys jumped in before I could even type my ramblings. (Message edited by Oddball on October 30, 2009) |

This is a product I'd like to look into. Now, a kickstart and magneto would be asking too much, I imagine ....I do know of a couple good mags for this engine, though. |

Tramp- are you finally gonna get an 1125R? IIRC you said something about getting one when they first came out IF you could figure out how to slap carburetors on it. |

Hillbilly Motors got their set of spoked rims from Alpina. I looked into it...about $2500 for the set |

Whoaaa! Thanks for the heads-up, FVB- For $2500.00 I could easily score a used M2. ...or a new engine for my tired old S2. Hughlysses- Right now I'm only in the market for: A. a brand-new factory-fresh engine for my S2 or B: A brand new leftover Buell for $5K. |

If you mean a group buy for a new engine for Tramp, I have no problem with that...no shame here! |

I'm not sure if I believe it, but, you never know. I was called two nights ago by someone who has been in the motorcycle industry for 40ish years. This person has quite a good relationship with EB and some of the biggies at HD. This guy told me that the mother ship was to pay every dealership $5,500.00 for every Buell they sold in an attempt to get them out of their hair. This would mean, to me anyway, that after you get your quote you should be able to knock an additional 55 hunge off the top. Awesome if it's true. A huge tease if it's not. Unless you're quote already includes the discount, which most do. |

First, WHY is "anonymous" posting as such? What is this....the Bourne Supremacy? Ferris (and I, check the OP) were discussing threaded spoke rims...NOT Buell motorcycles. |

Looks like an abuse of the "anonymous" privilege |

Those wire wheels used to be about 800 euro as set. I looked into getting some back when Jens was still at HBM but even then that was too much. I've met the guy here in Italy that was the Alpina prototyper for the wheels, he's got them on his white Uly, looks great! |

Sorry boys, I posted in the wrong thread. I hate when that happens. |
