Rocket - I was thinking before, but ISR make brake calipers??? Then it clicked - doh! Did the m/cylinder come with any switches? Got any more pics? Neil - We'll make it over there, somehow, someday I hope the Suby is an easy, inexpensive fix. |

Yeah - that's the black and gold I like. New black isn't that bad either. We had a blue test bike and it was not an attractive motorcycle. How much are Fiat paying you to advertise their products Lions? |

Probably nuthin, owe too much on my bike to trade it anytime before 18 months from now or so. |

The decal package is an extra $1500 to go to the FIAT livery. Nothing else changes. Seems a bit steep but it looks cool. |

That is a lot extra. I'm very friendly with the Japanese bike dealer around the corner from me. I'm sure if it came down to it I could make that difference go away, but like I said I can't do anything anytime soon. |

It could a least be Ferrari. I look at it and think 'Bambino 850'. |

Vampress; I think it would take a large crowbar and a lot of determination to get Terri away from her Ss.

Crusty, Did you go to MotoGP in Indy? I saw a pair of bikes that looked amazingly like that parked outside the hotel, and the couple riding them joined my group for a bit of the journey back Sunday night. David |

That was probably us. We stayed at the Crowne Plaza, and were running with a few different groups on I-70 heading east. |

Yep that was you guys - I'm the bald(ing?) guy that was riding the old blue Suzuki Bandit staying at the Crowne. Nice meeting you both. Great job with the bags, they look factory. |

I found the bags but am wondering about mounting, I assume there is no room for a pssenger then, are they a quick release from the bike? |

O.K. About the bags; I got the mounting racks for Terri as a Christmas present a couple of years ago. H&B said they were the right racks for an Ss. They're not. They will go right on a regular Lightning or a CityX, but I had to fabricate two front mounting plates to make the rest of the framework fit. The bags themselves were from her previous bike; a 2005 Moto Guzzi Breva. The candy red panels are a close enough match to the Cherry Bomb wheels that they didn't require paint. Down on the rear corner of the bags is a Buell sticker that happened to fit almost perfectly where the Moto Guzzi sticker used to be. The passenger pegs had to come off to mount the racks. The bags detach quickly and easily with the key, but the mounts are pretty much a permanent part of the bike. Look us up at Homecoming next summer, and I'll show you exactly how I did it. |
