The two farms above were forty five miles apart. How about an option. If the multiple church thing is too much, how about a race track that has little or no chance of being on TV. A place where Saturday night shoot out racing happens, doesn't matter what venue.....cars, bikes, dogs, wheel chairs, horses, pigs. Paved or dirt, drags, ovals, hillclimbs, whatever. Something the locals know about that outsiders would have to live there for years to find out about. Those not actively looking.....any opinions? |

Nice Verne, what are those? Look like Hereford and Black Baldies. I was hoping to get some Aggies or Longhorns too. |

SCORE!!! All of these pictures were taken within a half hour of each other. It was amazing that so many of the past challenges were found in one area. I pulled into a church parking lot to get a picture of a single spire, and there was a group of farmers harvesting tobacco, then a giantfreight train was passing just below me, as an airplane flew directly over me to land at a small airport. Behind the church was a playground, and as hard as it was to believe, as I pulled back on to the highway, across the street was a funeral home with a large water fountain right behind it! The others were taken within ten miles of this spot! Amazing! Then there was Old Glory standing with Tennessee's flag, and a neat old chimney left from a house long gone, and soccer fields. There were more, but I have work to do.

Etennuly I agree with Andy you just won. ALL bonus points are now forfeit and must be paid to Etennuly. That is seriously cool!!! Oil lines are leaking, gonna try replacing some clamps first... it's supposed to warm back up so hopefully I can play some more. |

Currently looking for a number of church spires, like sequentially. A church with one spire, another with two, then three.(what I was looking for yesterday). As an alternate; a race track that will never stand a chance to be on TV. A local bull pen of sorts, don't matter what they race. |

A local cart track thats never gonna be on teevee
was gonna see if the place next door was a R/C track.. turned out to be a miniature rail trail society (zoom in 2 c) who does that? ~~~~~~~~~~ Alrighty Next up: In honor of his month.. I want to see your bike at ghost town.. dust in the streets, old buildings made of wood and all that good stuff.. Ghost TOWN, not house... as a marker, put a scary mask on the front of the bike (Message edited by ochoa0042 on October 10, 2009) |

A NEW picture with some sentimental Buell value. Yes I know that's contradictory. If you're lucky enough to live close to the factory, go for that. If you've got a group of friends that met each other through your common passion of all things Buell, then get out there and meet up for a group photo. Take the idea and run with it. I'm sure we'll have a lot of good photos to post before long, so whoever responds with a photo first just post up the next challenge. As open-ended as this one is I don't want to judge a winner. edit: I wanna see the shocker as proof that it's a new picture! (Message edited by pkforbes87 on October 18, 2009) |

This should be an easy one for the 26th. I guess we got to keep it out of the archives until then! |

Thought I'd post a pic to bump... Chili has his hands wrapped around one of our mini Buells, so I guess you could say his bike is in the pic. Lol The banner has pride of place in our kitchen currently, but will be resituated once the renos are done. It was the first thing to hit the wall when we shifted. Makes it feel more like *home*. That's the sentimental bit.
I would like the next challenge to follow the same vein though. A group photo of either Buells,Buell fans or both. As a marker, I would like a sign of some sort that reads "Buell forever" Cheers |

Well Vampi, if you can cheat a little...
...then I guess I can use 'Buell Racing'. Not quite 'Buell Forever', but it was outside the factory on a sunny Sunday afternoon when nobody was around--same idea right. Sorry, it's late here and I've tipping back. |

Nice Methed, good improvisation. We can either follow on with the same challenge or you can set a new one. Your call |

Was just messing around. Oh well, prolly as close as I'll ever get, so I'll take it. I've got one for ya, but it'll come in about 8 hours... It'll be kinda hard for you Vamp, but it'll make it really interesting if you or Chili can pull it off. |

Aight, here we go. I wanted to post after my ride to work this morning to provide a little inspiration...
Post a pic of your bike next to an indication of the temperature, which has to be at or below freezing; also the pic must have been taken after 7/09. For bonus points, stick a latex glove to the side of your airbox/tank/fram throwing the shocker! |

Yep, you're right...a touch hard for us. I was almost going to resort to taking the bike to a refrigerated transport unit, just to be clever, but don't have time with renos still happening. Good luck to the next winner! |

Going to be a couple of weeks here, I think. Weather people say a warming trend will keep us out of the 30's for the next two weeks. Not a bad thing though! |
