I'm one of those new Buell owners that you're hearing so much about these days.
But don't hold it against me, I've been Buell-curious for years.
I traded in my 2007 Warrior for a 2009 1125R and, though I know I'm going to miss it the comfort of the cruiser, it's so nice to be back on a bike that *really* moves!

Let me introduce myself:
My name is Toona, and I have a Buell-addiction. I too just picked up an '09 1125R in racing red, to go with my '04 Lightning.

The modifications have already started in my head and I don't even have the Buell home yet....

BTW, there is no known cure for Buell-aholica

So far she's just a perfect, bone stock, bright frickin' red 1125R.

Oh, I forgot to name drop 'Buellerthanyou' as well. I actually took a test ride on his first Buell years ago. ^_^

Gah! I got the slower color AGAIN?
That's what they told me when I had the yellow TL1000R.

Actually, I was going to get a black one that already had the side panels installed, but some guy at the dealership put dibs on it before I could. :P
The red is really growing on me, though... or maybe that's just windburn. ^_^

You won't miss any comfort. As soon as you develop the muscles to ride a sportbike, you'll discover that they can be just as comfortable with a few modifications.

Don't listen to Ourdee...after that terrible accident with the DiLithium crystals on Vega IV he confuses red with black..

Of course Racing Red is faster than black...it must be...my Jezebel is Racing Red....and all my junk is...well....Fast ; )
