I just picked up this little Kodak Zi8 a couple weeks ago as a keep-it-handy-pocket-unit. It shoots 1080, 720 @ 24 or 60 fps, and 5mp stills. The zoom's alright, but gets a bit shakier zoomed in. On eBay I found the batteries (2), suction monopods (2), and the mic, for a grand total of $205.00 for works including Cam. So far it hasn't blown off, but thumpin low revs sure shake the pic. The gooseneck monopod stuck to the speedo tucked behind the windscreen works ok, but you can still can see every piston stroke, and it moves a bit too. What are you using to get steady video?
