There have been a lot of sentiments expressed here, a lot of information and "words" posted. I find it novel that GM closes divisions no talks of Gm fans hosting meals at the plants, no letter writing campaigns to their current management of support, or to the "board" expressing outrage and dismay. To those of you going to the factory for the "Last Ride" I envy you, I wish time money and resources permitted it for me. To the fortunate new owners I say welcome and I hope that HD is good for their word I am slightly amused by the irony of the situation had I waited just a while longer I perhaps could have purchased an 1125 at a savings. I still glad that I did not, Its interesting that a small firm of perhaps 200 employees, has sparked reactions from all over the world. perhaps the folks at HD corperate may learn from their mistake. Well IMO the difference between GM and Buell is this, GM screwed themselves, Buell just got screwed! just my humble opinion |
