I saw in another thread http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/505313.html?1256045958 how some of us Badwebbers were lusting after Buells in high-school, in the mid-90s, and was wondering if 3%-ers actually have that younger demographic HD was hoping to capture (and now thrown out) Here's an interesting link: http://www.quantcast.com/badweatherbikers.com/demo graphics BTW, I got out of high-school in the 80s so am a bonafide geezer....just turned 42, you? lol, my lady came home last week and said she filled out a 'test' to determine the actual age of 'your man'. According to the test, I am ZERO years old. |

53- definitely a geezer. Someone took a pole and posted a chart a year or two ago showing the age breakdown at Badweb. I'll post a link if I can find it. |

I'm 30. First wanted a Buell, an S3 in 99 or 2000. Couldn't afford it, so I bought an old sportster. Put less than 1500 miles on it in 3 years cuz I was so bored on the thing, my 99 z-28 was more fun. Fast forward to 2007, decided to revisit what I wanted all along, the Buell. Bought a used 05 cityX, which lead me to my current bike the 08 1125r, bought new. As much as I love riding an American made bike, what I've really learned is that I hate cruisers, they bore me to the point that I can let it sit in the garage for a full season and not miss it one bit. Is sport bikes for me now. I'd buy a good sport bike from a company owned by Bin Laden and the government of Korea and Iran all in the same company before I buy another cruiser, especially a harley. If I wanna buy something to sit in the garage, I'll buy a work bench. |

46. I think HD marketing thinks I'm their man. Ha. Thing is, Buells appeal to all types, usually more to do with a mindset than an age group. |

55 next month. Finally got a Buell in 2004. I put 20k on the Firebolt, then traded it to my little brother for his '95 Z-28. Got Loretta, my 1125R Dec 18th, 2007. She has 22k already! Zack |
