Well, I am diligently endeavoring to get this flu thing out of the way. I didn't sell any more Buells sitting home on a 70 deg Saturday. If this weekend is indicative of next, the 1,100 mile journey from Colorado should be glorious. ~jammer |

Zac and Frank, I'm considering how I will get there, I have plenty of vacation time available but have to get some of the other details sorted. Would love to meet up with you guys for the trip East. I hope to meet up with a couple locals Sunday and see if anyone [else] from Salt Lake area will be going. Gotta fix a couple leaky oil fittings too... Brin, maybe we can see you on the way if we take I-80? |

I expect we'll take the same route I did for Homecoming - I-76 to I-80, then slab it East for 4-500 miles and head NE to Waukesha. Wish Nebraska and Iowa had 75 mph speed limit like we do. Had a good visit/lunch with Frank, hope he can make it. Didn't sound promising. Now I just gotta shake this chest-cold. Zack |

I just booked a room at the Doubletree Hotel 18155 Bluemound Rd. Brookfield, WI 53045 for $48.00/night on Hotwire.com It's a very reasonable rate, and it's not too far from Hal's. I should roll in sometime Sunday afternoon. |

Chest cold is kicking my ass. Rear tire has 4k miles on it. Barely flat-spotted, looks like it will make the trip. Loretta is at 22,309 miles or so, will have to rotate engine for 24.8k service as soon as I get home. Still anticipating and planning. This event is NOT to be missed!! |

Due to the limited vacation time I have available for the rest of this year, the only way I can make it would be to fly up and be bikeless or should I say Buell-less. Amazingly I'm mentally prepared to be Buell-less, but I'd really like to have some idea of when everything will happen. Like can I fly out sometime Monday evening or should I stay over Monday night and fly out Tuesday a.m.? Can any insight be given to help me plan my travels? Thanks, 1313 |

BB.....if you need a ride to/from the airport, let me know. I can pick you up. Also, if anybody is on the fringe due to a lack of a place to stay. I have a bedroom available on the south end of Waukesha, about 10-15 minutes from Hal's, 25 minutes from ET. Mi casa es su casa. |

I'm in. I am bringing the whole family! (All 4 kids) So we are going to take the family cager. But don't worry, it will be decked out in Buell logo's, etc. I am going to be staying in Sandwich, Illinois on Sunday night, and then drive up to the factory on Monday morning. I have a couple of camping grills (propane powered) that I can bring, and some ez-ups. I have limited cargo space, with a full van of kids, but if there is anything else that I can bring up, let me know. |

Man, I don't think I'm gonna' make it. I just ran the numbers, and it's a 13 hour trip one way, in weather I'm not prepared for, on roads I'm totally unfamiliar with. Not to mention I'd be leaving my wife to take care of my 11 week old all by herself for several days, and she can't bear the thought of me on the interstate locally. Bummer. ~SM |

Hey Mike, For the return trip home I'm thinking about heading down 43 to 39 to 74 to 70 According to yahoo maps, its only about a hour longer. Chicago on a rainy Monday night could tack on a couple hours easy.... What do ya think? |

I'll be heading up Sunday morning and back Monday afternoon from St Louis if anyone wants to caravan. No room booked yet but the $48 Doubletree sounds good! I'll be on a 1125R with a trunk and a new tank bag (if it arrives in time!) Hmm, I wonder if I can wire a cigarette lighter this week... Josh |

I'll be leaving - either solo on the Uly, or in the truck with Kim if she can get time off - Sat. AM so we have Sunday in WI to recover. Gotta run the time/$ numbers still...and get a room...but at least one of us will be there. Anyone else from MD headed out? |
